Hello! c: Welcome to BallistaSession's FFXIAH thread!
My name's Ayerro and I enjoy ballista and stuffing my
face with food. This LS is situated on Fenrir, and exists
with the help of my fellow ballistars. As a result, the
non-existent ballista community on Fenrir previously, has
now evolved to a much greater number, including several JP
linkshells apart from BallistaSession. If you have any
other questions after reading this post - or if you didn't
read this post - you may just ask. c: In game, ffxiah, or
any other place you are able to get in contact with me is fine.
( STATUS of ballista on Fenrir as of 1.28.2013)
Our linkshell has over 40 members from several different
time zones. Matches happen consistently every day and most
of us manage to attend all three matches during the day.
The majority of the matches take place during "NA and JP times,"
where matches range from 4v4 to 12v12 and even 14v14.
There are currently two JP ballista shells that attend
the OMs as well.
Interested in joining?
The skill levels of our members range from casual players
to those that play competitively. There's quite an even mix
and anyone who's interested is welcome to join. We're not
a mean or intimidating group (I hope ._.), so even if you've
never played ballista before and just want to give it a shot,
I strongly encourage you to send us a /tell and take part in
one - or a few - of our matches. For me, ballista is a nice
break from the other events in FFXI and allows me to play
more strategically by being keen to other's play styles.
You can either send a /tell to Ayerro in game, FFXIAH, or
Guildwork. I'll always refresh the page and check!
Our linkshell mainly attends 60 cap official matches, although
diorama for both 60 cap and uncapped (99) happen as well.
Due to the time spent in three 60 cap official matches, many
of our players do not go to the uncapped matches that take place
after the 60s, thus several players opt for uncapped diorama.
Ballista official matches happen every real life day but shift an
hour or so ahead consecutively to allow participation and
convenience to different time zones.
Even if you only have an hour of playtime, you may join a match!
Though many ballistars attend all three matches, a player who
doesn't have too much time to dedicate to the game or ballista
may participate with ease.
