For the last time I don't need help getting merits.
Urteil wants me to transfer to Phoenix sooner rather than later, I said I didn't want to because I can earn my merits faster on Carbuncle with my 2boxed main account, Urteil offered to help me with merits if I moved to Phoenix, I said ok.
Of course the more help I can get from legit players and not full perle pick ups the sooner I can fight Urteil.

I am such a noob at balistisa, I need practice before I face him but I do hold 100 + 134 int = 234 atm I doubt he will resist that.

Edit: I'm not saying Manifestation + Stun is the way you should open, Alacrity + Ele seal + Sleepga would be a much better way to open most likely.or even Breakga

my thoughts exactly, why burn a charge on aoeing a spell rather than alacritying an aoe followed by whatever you need to slow him down lol
edit: just wanna clarify, int still counts as macc towards dark magic, but the boost isnt the same as raw macc or dark magic skill+

I just want to stun him, kaustra and run away. With ,y boots and his W legs, he prob be dead in 15 seconds.

Kaustra can only be removed with embrava, but yeah, there's also sprint in pvp.
i stand corrected, but basing the whole thing on your 2hr spell is silly, hell i may have my ballista license soon since i want the gold ballistar achievement (yep im one of those 51/56), you could find out the hard way if i get around to it, dont let that be your excuse to not go to phoenix tho, i hate pvp and have little motivation to do this

I already said I don't get to play much on weekdays.
Also when you bring a character up from scratch there is a lot you have to do besides merits, like leveling the job in the first place and skilling up and getting gear.

As a side note, lol at everyone trying to relate PvE proficiency with PvP proficiency. I've dedicated my FFXI career to playing 60 cap Ballista (PvP).
Urteil is still brainwashed by PvE, as are almost everyone else posting on these forums. Urteil puts a lot of time into his PvP, but that doesn't change the fact he is predominantly a PvE player, and that will be his downfall.

You're an idiot if you think that someone can't play PvE and PvP optimally, and to hint that a decent ballistar would draw negative qualities from playing PvE is just rediculous.
And considering how 60 Cap Ballista is absolutely nothing compared to uncapped, I repeat the question above your last post.. "what's going to happen when Urteil completely pwns you?"
