I wear 5/5 and I'd still be a better pick than Mittens.

Guess who got rid of that Jeuno tax? Romney. He fought the Archdukes and revived the 2002 ballista tournament. He spent some time gutting linkshells as well.
I just had a beautiful mental image of Elmo talking in the third person about the channel/show being defunded.

He's going to repeal Sesame Street and replace it with a story occurring in the white suburbs where there are no abortions or women's rights. Basically.... Salt Lake City. Cookie Monster did it. It's called "God's Away of Business."

Coming in a bit late, but I will have to be humble and admit that Romney won this first debate for the most part.
He was calm, collected, professional, yet simultaneously hyper, rigid and steadfast in his approach to attacking Obama, as well as defending his "plans" with something less vague and a little more tangible than what has been shown throughout his campaign. Obama unfortunately played it a little too safe and approached his attacks and cross examinations with almost a sort of neutrality, bringing great points, but ones that ultimately supported Romney, rather than justifying the accomplishments of his term along with his projected approach to the contemporary subject matters at hand. This in combination with a moderator that was too easily intimidated with a noble, but unrealistic format left a perfect playing field for Romney to take the lead, while Obama took a diplomatic, and thus submissive approach to what should have been a debate akin to a boxing match rather than cat fight or apologetic argument. Cerberus.Eugene said: » Bob Ross died and the world became a sadder place. But even with that, if you are even the slightest bit lucid you can catch a huge trip from watching him turn blobs of paint into solid landscape art. flipped my ***when he made some gray, white, and black spots into a pond in winter. This made me giggle a bit:
Quote: A lot of people seem to be frustrated with Obama for not being more combative. I think I would have acted the same way if I were scheduled to debate Mitt Romney only to find myself standing next to whoever happened to be wearing his skin tonight. I mean, what can you do if your opponent constantly changes positions? Call him a liar on national television? That'd be one helluva bitchslap that would never happen. It'd seem over the line and reactionary. It isn't like you can press your opponent in these debates much either if they put out false statements. I mean, I wish Obama could be like... "hold up...." *Youtube video of Romney* "Come again with your position Governor Romney? Because that guy up there on the screen that looks alot like you is saying the complete opposite. Care to reconcile this for me and the American people?" Quoted from another forum:
Quote: Someone mentioned it up-thread, but Romney came off as a used car salesman. Supremely confident, winning smile. He slapped the hood and kicked the tires and offered you a great deal, but in the end he refused to show you the CarFax. lulz |
