The band kamelot is from florida, but hails a uk fictional city. both bands have a song titled Alexandria. Another city lost under the sea.
The thing is, the hint says:," a heavy band, of the rock variety". Not heavy metal, or a heavy rock band. Perhaps the measurement refers to weight, not style.

You're typing it out at "lowerthanatlantis" right? Maybe the person made a mistake and made it "Lower Then Atlantis" rather than "Lower Than Atlantis"?

Tried that yeah, we figured the capitalization was important, but it didnt work.
Have posted clues on a forum to see if some rock fans can come up with anything lol.
This "search for a band thing" is SCREAMING Nick and Nora's Infinate Playlist to me.
In the movie they had a band that was notorious for their obscurity. I think the name of that band was "Where's Fluffy".

wait but since the UK sign was deleted and there's a sign that reads "Down Below" couldnt it be possible they are from Australia?
Maybe just try a bunch of misspellings. Altanis, Atlains, etc. He might have just did it quick, once. If it came up as *'s when he put it in maybe he didn't realize he spelled something wrong.
