Non Empy NIN

I read a couple of threads on here about Blade: Jin ws sets etc. but nothing with a lot of the new gear that's out there. Here are my setups, any advice or constructive crit. is appreciated.

Oh yeah I forgot my Katanas are outdated :D. Thaumas won't happen unless I get on PC. Any other piece?

Thaumas body is ultimate, AF1 is great, then AF2+2, then AF3+2.

your TP build is fine, maybe can do a different ammo with str/dex/attack since your not depending on crit for Hi.
Other than that, Kannagi is sadly the best way to go.
Kikoku is mearly just a +5 STR katana.

Rancor Mantle and nefarious collar would boost crit rate quite a bit. Rancor collar is another option but doesnt stack with mantle. This is assuming you capped tonberry hate. If you cant make a str katana dex one wouldnt be bad if your nin is anything like mine accuracy can be pretty bad at times. Wanion belt might be better to if you have Prov access. Augmented Byakko Haidate might also be better then athos's. Moonshade with attack and tp bonus could probably replace pearl also, and another option is augmented Light Earring with crit rate +1 from mis. coast [a]. If you want more double/triple attack can use tocis/ocelomeha set at the cost of crit rate and some str attack acc lose. Not sure how much 1 haste matters to you but Tiercel necklace would give you one more haste and some subtle blow if they're available on your server.

Blade Jin is crit based like Hi though. I'm trying what would be best seeing as I won't have Kannagi for a while. In the mean time I want to do the most DMG I can.

I was thinking about Ranc Mantle and Nef neck would be good. I might try that out. I'm currently trying to augment Byakko's with Crit rate.

Can't get crit rate on haidate, can get crit damage though. Probably what you meant... But didn't want you trying for an impossible goal.

Your TP set is almost identical as mine, only difference is hands and neck.
Perhaps you could do Limbus to have the extra VIT and DEX on Ninja Chainmail +1.
For waist however I have the Nusku's Sash which has Dual Wield +5
When I did the math last week, Nusku's > Twilight Belt.
The NM for that is not that hard if you can bring 3 friends.
Still need to check mine to maximize TP gain.

Patentia Sash over Nushkus. Same dw but 8 attack and 5 stp. But again might be rare as most ls don't spam that limbus area frequently. 1run=18 boss kis so yeah.

Also were does Portho byrnie fit in for nin tp bodies? Thought it was a decent replacement until Thaumas.

Ah okay, I have Nusku's so I'll try that out. How did you do the math for it? Can I see any the data please? Would it be better so use a Thundersoul or Pyrosoul ring instead of Eponas for WS?

I think there is some explanation about the other dual wield belt that's also 5% in the Koga vs Iga Hakama thread, but maybe another NIN thread, I'm not sure.

The delay is first reduced with any kind of Dual Wield before Haste is applied.

Simple example with Kannagi (delay 210) + Kamome (delay 180) = 390 for 1 round. I only take DW from job trait into account which is 35%.

1Only job trait (35% DW) : 390 x 0.65 = 253.50 delay.
Job trait + Nusku's (40% DW) : 390 x 0.60 = 234 delay.
Job trait + Twilight (35% DW , 7% Haste) : 253.50 (see above) x 0.93 = 235.755 (simple math no rounding, no n/1024 used)

You're not accounting for the change in TP/hit with Nusku's or the DA on Twilight. Patentia > Twilight > Nusku's, albeit all by fairly small margins.
