Empyrean feet+1, looks like you completely forgot they exist. Pretty sure they're the highest priority in the set.

Yes to both of those.
For the chironic, since you don't care about the special augment, pellucid stones would be best imo. They force a macc/matk augment at least and it's much easier to get macc/matk in high values. Sucks for stats and special augments though. For the body/legs, Fern stones have the best chance to give you what you want because they force a 100% guaranteed special augment, but its definitely hard to get 4 good augments. Edit: Yeah, I wasn't considering Klimaform or Weather. If the mathy numbers are correct in the nuking spreadsheet, Arbatel Loafers +1 have become situational, depending on buffs and which spell you pick.

Sure arbatel might be compromised now... but it's only a matter of time before Empy gets the +2/3 treatment.
I basically never play sch anymore but they're % based damage.
The more damage your nuke does the more damage they add to it. Anything worth nuking with it should still be a clear winner. Probably not t1 t2 t3, but why would you be bursting those anyway. Cerberus.Shadowmeld

Loafers +3 to be ~15.2% increase in matk. I think it would be pretty close. Peda. also has 36 macc vs. arbatel 20-23 from elemental skill. AND they have fast cast for more casting over time. Edit: To be clear I'm not saying they win. Just that I'm betting they would be close/worth looking into If all it took was +48, then they were never best in slot. merlinic feet can get +55

Merlinic feet can get +55 And Amalric +1 feet has +62 MAB (counting +10 from set bonus) with +11 Magic Damage on top of that. Even +72 MAB actually if you don't use anything else from Amalric other than hands+1. What interesting me the most are legs now. Regal earring with Merlinic legs is around 50 MAB, 50 macc 13 Magic Damage and 60+ INT Static earring with Amalric +1 legs is 80 MAB (60 base and activating set bonus for +20 more), 20 macc and 40 INT First option is a lot more MACC, but 30 less MAB (20 less if you also use Amalric +1 feet). 20INT and 13Magic damage probably makes up for less mab on Helixes? No idea about other nukes tho. 2nd set also require much better and harder to get augment on merlinic body (you need +10 Magic Burst on body instead of only +15 shared between body and legs). Is the relic+3 body going to beat +10 telchine? I think its calculated funky iirc?

I made body +3 but still using telchine for regen.

The relic +3 body should win for regular enhancing duration.
Edit: Equation for duration is: (Base Duration + Flat Duration increases) * (1 + enhancing duration) * (1 + enhancing duration from augments) * (1 + perpetuance bonus + perpetuance gear) Offline

Just used the calculator and the +3 body beats +10 telchine body even with +10 in all other armor slots.

Haste duration with relic 5:03, with +9 telchine 4:51.
Perp regen5 9:04 with telchine, 8:37 relic. THIS MAKES NO SENSE, *** IT! Im upgrading it
EDIT: Haven't cleared Windy on SCH, wind is gone from my sail Offline

I mean is slightly better than telchine for all spells but regen, add sublimation bonus if you're into that. Huge mdb+10 paired with 100meva makes it a good defensive piece.

There's a pretty good chance that the +2 relic body would beat a +9 augment on Telchine as well, if you've got at or near cap on the other Telchine and Gada.

With your set a perpetuance haste and +2 body would give compared to +10 Telchine
Relic +2: 4.092 multiplier (12:16 on haste for example, 12:14 if floored after each operation) Telchind: 4.095 multiplier (12:17 on haste for example, 12:16 if floored after each operation)** Relic +3: 4.231 multiplier (12:41 on haste for example, 12:37 if floored after each operation) ** Depends on where rounding/flooring occurs obviously Edit: Side Note for Regen Do you guys focus regen duration or do you use Empy head/JSE (WKR) Cape for potency? Gada vs. Bolelabunga too I guess? Cerberus.Shadowmeld said: » Edit: Side Note for Regen Do you guys focus regen duration or do you use Empy head/JSE (WKR) Cape for potency? If it was a fast zerg, then I went with full potency. If it was 7+ minutes, I went with full duration. Working on my scholar right now. What is the current thoughts on SCH weapon.
I have a Grio with +10 INT +29 MAB +30 M.acc , which sufficient for now. is the Mythic desireable? (doesn't seem so to me compared to my augmented Grio) and is Akademos still worth it? Thanks As a quick guide:
Akademos is the is all around amazing. Generally the best damage and frees up other slots to have less strict requirments for +Magic Burst. Realistically Mythic is for tinkerers and specialists only. You can outdamage Akademos only by using AM2. Unless you use it as a status symbol which is fine also I suppose. Bahamut.Tychefm said: » As a quick guide: Akademos is the is all around amazing. ItemSet 358797 This is all I came up with w/out searching thru all gear... not sure what hte best pieces are to cap pdt, and hopefully preserve some refresh I think would be the next priority. Gelatinous ring/+1
mafic cudgel genmei shield staunch tathlum/+1 ambu cape w/ pdt-10% or dt-5% Artsieq_Hoselegs can be augmented with 5% pdt threw this together really quick. If you have ilvl hands with refresh add those, so merlinic/chironic w/ DM augs? ItemSet 358800 Some flexibility if you wanted to lock staff to still be able to myrkr or whatever, in that case you need something more like this. Gendewitha gages +1 can be augmented with 4% pdt iirc so you're at 49% pdt with this set. Ambu cape w/ PDT-10% allows you to drop the hands. ItemSet 358801 Been making myself a regen potency lately (short fights, solo fights with terrible bios/poisons etc) and wanted to see if anyone else has tried it? Got myself a few new pieces of Telchine (body legs feet) and Bookworm cape with capped potency (3 on each telchine, 10 on cape). I'm job master, got Bolelabunga, Empy head +1 and hands +1 (for perp). Filled the rest with Enhancing skill. Anything I'm missing?
DirectX said: » What should be on Akedemos for nuking? I feel like ignoring the Macc option would be a bad idea but I don't know - do people just make up Macc in other slots? What would you rather? A tiny little bit of extra power? Or the peace of mind that you're less likely to get resists? I went the MACC option for this reason. Unless you know for an absolute fact you're not getting resists in most situations you play, then stick with option C. Anyone able to answer my question from the above post? I'm pretty content with it for now, unless I've overlooked something.

Though, you mentioned you are going for pure potency purposes for specifically short fights/heavy bio/poison auras, you could use Telchine Gloves with +Regen Potency instead of Arbatel Gloves+1, since the bonus duration on Perpetuance should never come into effect (aka: the fight would end before Perp-RegenV would ever come close to wearing off) But yea.. inventory space is prime real estate and divainy-gamainy is a cruel mistress, so...... Arbatel Gloves+1 it is! |
