Oh no, I know. I was simply stating that adding Arka wasn't that big a deal considering 38 aint too hard to get.

You'll still want Arka on SCH for times when you're not running Aurorastorm for whatever reason.

The difference between Chatoyant and Arka IV is small enough that, being for a mage, I would normally say it wouldn't be worth the two inventory slots to carry both around for situational optimization; however, it's pretty apparent that one would want to have access to both and spellcast rules are easy to write.

Did you used some food?
Edit, just saw the vid : What kind of food should i use to skill from 300 to 400ish?
Edit 2 : So Montagna is 1.8* times faster to skill up
I used Montagna but the last few skills I was out of food and none up in the AH (or any of its corresponding ingredients for that matter).

So has the immunobreak done anything good or is RDM pretty much dead forever? I'm not getting a good impression from all the inactivity about it. =\

Just saw a WHM do immunobreak on a Cat in Provenance

Time to retire RDM for good; the job is completely dead now :|

It seems to me that the problem with RDM is more or less the same as the problem with PLD. When you had a single tank (or even co-tank) back in the days of PLDs and NINs, Para2 and Slow2 were a massive help to keep them alive and slow their rate of damage taken or shadow loss. But now that we just pile on melees with full haste and Embrava, mobs have full TP before para can even proc. The source of most damage is now special abilities that can't be paralyzed or slowed. So PLDs and RDMs die together.

That being said, I still like RDM+SCH+BLM or RDM+BLMx2 for covering VW procs over the more usual BLMx3.

I miss RDM. That was the only job I felt like I was elite on. Solo healing Salavage back in the day was pretty exciting. Waaaaaa!

At least with PLD there's some situational (if not entirely useless) use with Ochain PLDs and whatnot.

See, when I said on the OF to make it enfeebling-magic based, I didn't mean the immunobreak should easily work in the low 400's, so that every jack and jill mage job could debuff anything worth a damn...get some merits and pound out a skill set that would trump every other mage, for example Enfeebling Skill past 460 would increase a chance at a single immunobreak.

Unfortunately I didn't like playing RDM as a curebot back at level 75. |:
