How much should this belt go for if you were a black mage looking for one on the market? I obtained one from Odin Ver.2 last night and seem to be having issues selling it.
Maybe 10m? Couldn't see it going for more than that, if that.
I don't understand why not. Its quite hard to get coming from Odin Version 2. Plus it does not have the -10 M.acc that drops from the Legion. Granted it also does not have the +10 M.Dmg from Legion.
It's a delicious upgrade from my searing sash (I don't do legion atm), but I probably wouldn't pay more than a 1-2 mil for it just because I'm gil-less. A blm with more money than me, or a career blm, should be willing to pay more, I would think. 5-10 mil, maybe.

That may be, however in terms of relative upgrade strength/strength in general it really isn't worth more than 10m, and that 10m price tag is taking into account rarity. Odin v2 isn't quite so bad to make it worth the 50m you're trying to sell for.
Actually I keep cutting down the price very very heavily. If you think 10m is all I should get for it I might just whack it down to that price and take it with a grain of Salt. They should of put some Magical Crit Damage on it. Then the belt might be worth something. Square Enix needs some lessons. If its hard to beat, it should drop great things all around.
You can try for 15m since they aren't exactly in great abundance atm, but 50 is way way way too high.
Think of it this way, it's 3 extra MAB for your waist slot (think there's pieces other than Searing that I'm forgetting about, just using Leila's example). It's 1 less MAB than novio, novio is 6~8m, 10m is pretty fair. Ghetto *** economic reasoning right here, I'm sure someone will find a reason to say it's worth more, but in my opinion 10m is pretty reasonable all in all.

Eh. Black Mage stuff is too confusing. Why I never cared for the job really. But thank you for the advice. I will take what I can get and be happy about it. After all, the belt was free to me.

lets see... current rate for witch sash is 1.5m, magic crit is nice and the int makes up some matk difference. this is straight matk and - enmity. depends on your macc/crit rate but i would say 7M sounds about right.
Its a nice belt, definitely an upgrade from witch/oneiros sash, but only about a 4-5m upgrade. 10m is too high. Few pieces (if any outside of KC) are worth 10m. Certainly not a belt =/

Any good blm for the little dmg this offers, 3-4mil is probably the max you'll ever get. also with people spamming legion not gonna be long before a lot more about & u might struggle to get the 3-4mil then.

i think its worth atleast 10 mil regardless of the stats considering how hard odin v2 is
If it wasn't for sea obis and /SCH I'm sure it would be worth alot more.
Either way considering how hard it is to obtain it'll prolly be worth 7-20 mil bearing in mind there's prolly alot of pple w/ a wait and see approach on odin drops

10M maybe, but I seriously doubt it from any sensible player. +1 mab...maybe 2-5M...

Not sure why Nomkahpa Mittens are going for 15m by this logic then. Sure 3% DA and haste are good stats to have and it's decently rare but 15m doesnt seem like a reasonable price. Maybe 8-10m.
Umbral Marrows are still selling for a solid 12-15mil and by comparison marrows are wayyyy easier to farm than Odin and require less players to kill. In terms of difficulty and time spent farming, marrows should really be worth 5-7mil at most, especially now that people have figured out strategies to lowman him.
not quite so much, comparative to other hand pieces they aren't so staggering as to warrant a 15m price tag any more than the belt warrants 10m.
Rarity only increases value if it has an associated use. Marrows are worth 12 mil because every relic on the server wants them. Nomkahpa are to my knowledge top in slot for 2-3 DD jobs depending on buffs. Best in slot+rarity makes it worth over paying for marginal increases. This belt is only best in slot if you aren't getting weather, AND need acc. So it is only good when you don't bring a sch and poorly buff your blms on higher lvl events.
