I don't remember the name, she was the captain of 12th division and was like a mother to Hiyori, then she was promoted to the King's Guard and abandoned Soul Society leaving Hiyori bitter as she is now and Urahara was moved from being vice-captain in 2nd division to captain in 12th.

Kirio Hikifune, Seems to be her name. I guess she was promoted to Zero Squad. Either way, Kubo probably hasn't planned this out, so us doing it seems kinda difficult lol.

So where is the zero squad in all this? They just a group of Mega-captains that are chillin waiting for the enemy to destroy soul society and come after the king? xD also it would make sense if ichigos dad was captain of zero squad....

following bleach standards these are just the lower to mid tier enemies.
You know the mystery guy is Pesche Guatiche standing with his junk in Hat and Clogs's face. I'd have that reaction too. He spent so much time with Ishida during their time fighting Espada.

Also, Zero Squad probably has highest priority to stay and defend the Soul King at all costs. If they sent Zero Squad to Soul Society, they would leave the Soul/Spirit King undefended... which might be what the quincy want.
So thats the reason we may not be seeing the Zero Squad yet.

I saw that, and while it would be amusing that the Don might be the big guy, I can't imagine him as such unless Kubo forgot the guys introduction where he tortured Humans into becoming Hollows... I doubt if he was the Soul King/Ascended w/e he would be creating Hollows, regardless of if he was trying to remain incognito.
Then again, I've seen stranger things. Good theory though, Made me laugh at the idea of it actually happening considering the Track record of Bleach.

I still vote that it's Peche who put down Kirge. He needs to rescue his friends. However they do have to some how explain the abandonment of the rescue in Hueco Mundo. That's a good case for Nel to continue on alone. It does seem as if she used a flash step while in toddler form and went espada a the moment she struck him. Then there's the guy Rukia met in Hueco Mundo. Could also be a Vizard. I'd imagine the SS would use them as some sort of expeditionary force. Or perhaps some remnant of Ichigo's hollow?

Totally called Kenpachi being able to deal with these guys. And he's not even trying yet.
The big boss is totally going to end up beating him though. Unless Yamamoto steps in. Which he probably wont until all his captains are dead or nearly so if I learned anything from the Fake Karakura Town Arc.

i honestly was hoping to see other captain's bankai in this arc but seems thats not gonna happen -.-
