Looking For Perfect Evisceration Set

Hello! I am seeking advice on which pieces of gear I can obtain that will make my Evisceration Set "Perfect". I am Elvaan with 15/15 STR merits and 8/8 Dagger skill. I use Lv.85 Twashtar as my Main weapon, slowly working on upgrading to Lv.90. This is what I currently use. ANY information on what I can work on to improve my set will be greatly appreciated!

this is what i currently use, I'm not saying its any better or worse then you use but generally i hit bewteen 1200-3000 damage depending if inside or outside of abyssea and depending on the monsters difficulty.

rajas ring is about the simplest upgrade I would recommend, but you do have the earring over me so we're kinda meh.

bored enough to take a swing at it:

Less of a reliance on triple attack for damage. Also with raised ruins your dDex is capped along with the crit rate from the atma, added to the weaponskill's base crit rate and the bonus from moonshade (gonna take a shot in the dark and say it adds 6%+ crit. rate).

So you end up with 5(base)+15(dDex)+5(merits)+16+(100 tp+moonshade)+30(razed ruins)+2(kacura)= a least a 73% crit. rate for evisceration

Also wasn't sure if using prosilio and an attack earring would be better.



Was tempted to put some Thaumas in there but Loki's, N. head, Athos' pants were hard to pass up and you lose a lot of set bonus. Also exenterator is probably better outside abyssea.

Or if you dont have thaumas, I use oce head+1 and athos boots then you get set crit rate with body too, except I dont have the body yet either only lokis. Rings im never too sure really I just keep on epona and brutal maybe you could swap to demonry or thundersoul instead of the epona with *** charge.

Just wondering if Wanion or Prosilo would be a better option for waist and Justiciar's/Love torque maybe better for neck, any other improvements also welcome. Thanks in advance.

Athos body/feet and augmented heca legs, I assume would be improvements. Those feet are nice if athos set didnt give crit rate.

Evis is quite the balancing act, and what's a clear winner under one set of buffs will be solidly inferior to another piece under different buffs. That said, I think this set would hold up nicely in most Abyssea situations using RR+SS+Apoc:



Rogue Armlets +1 (or Hecatomb Mittens +1) on TA Evis being the one major (100 dmg+) situational piece.

Edit: Forgot about Cuch belt, that'd be a better waist.

Wanion better than Anguinus?

This is my current set:

The two perform quite similarly, but with food, berserk, and/or stalwart's up, your attack ratio should be high enough for the Wanion's WSC and fSTR to pull ahead by a small margin. On SA+Evis, it's not as close because the DEX will count for both SA and WSC. On TA+Evis, the -AGI on Wanion lets Anguinus catch up a bit.

Both are on the order of 1-2% total WS damage, so you won't really be burnt either way. Unless you manage to cap your attack, which would make Anguinus nearly worthless.
