Yeh you can as long as you don't kill the npcs related to it, there are other benefits to Covenants though as PvP largely revolves around them.

Do I have to run out of Blighttown to get out of here? :| or is there another way?
From the bonfire in the swamp turn right and you will find a ramp leading up to an ascending conveyer belt of sorts climbing up that way will take you to Vally of the drakes and you can cross a bridge to the entrance to New Londo ruins. Near by the entrance to there there is an elevator that will take you up to firelink. Explore around on the way up and there is a firekeeper's soul to find along with some other treasure but before walking across the roots go up one more level to take out the blow darters or they will knock you off then come back down to get the stuff across them.

I tried doing the cheap way with arrows on the cracked wall right beside the fog gate but I only landed 1 arrow for 1 damage and said fk that lol

 The hardest part about Sif was bringing myself to hit him : (
Hes really easy in light armour though. It does at +14/15 upgrades, actually. Priscilla's Dagger, Dark Silver Tracer, Dragon Bonefist and Moonlight Greatsword have S ranks in their primary stat too.
The scaling representation is kinda odd. A 'B' on one Weapon isn't the same as a 'B' on another weapon, or at different upgrade levels. After so many upgrades, a weapon may jump up a level as it's scaling in that rank goes over a threshold. Demon Greataxe is an extremely heavy weapon. It's A in STR jumps to an S at +14 reinforcement.
Dragon Bone Fist is an S in STR but no one ever uses H2H weapons. besides Claws on some builds. Should I go after the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring? ._. it says it's a long way back up and I will have to fight Titanite Demons.
