Them test a riposte and a light swing with each to finally be able to say which are the top damage possible "Well this one slightly wins if your faith is levelled too since it scales a bit with it" or "By far this one wins if you have dex50 too but if you just have str50 this one wins instead" etc lol Bismarck.Narshee said: » Arcusias Thanatos said: » I ventured into Blighttown once, and I'm not sure if I want to do it. Was thinking of revisiting the asylum first haha. It just looks wayyy too dangerous for me and I haven't even made it to the first bonfire. Haven't tried though with my Black Knights Sword +2 lol I need better armor, using balder body armor and black leather legs/gloves and the beginning helm for warrior. Any ideas of what I can upgrade to? Spider shield which you find in the depths is also helpful and some glowing purple moss (can buy off the undead female merchant) is good to take for if you get poisoned. Carbuncle.Josiahfk said: » You'll love anor londo if you love falling off ledges a lot : p You need blooming moss for toxic as well. Not that many but they're nice to have since it can eat a lot of HP
Yeah blooming was what I meant by glowing sorry, couldn't remember the name just that the picture glows XD I don't think I've ever bothered with the regular purple moss that just reduces the build up.

It removes it completely lol Maybe I had toxic or something then... idk I just remember using it once and thinking "Poison, why you still there"
I found the best way to avoid getting Toxic'd is that every time it happens to you, you gotta start singing the Britney Spears song.
You have to keep singing it until you remove it. If you can't remove it, you'll probably kill yourself IRL before you die in-game anyway. It works. Blighttown needs to burn with all of its flying bugs, fire bugs, poison/toxic swamps, and giant creatures :| I am lost in there and I don't want to go back to the swamp :(
Getting down is not very fun however going up will take <1min lol if you are having problems with toxix throw dung pies but get caught in it's toxic effect (you lose 1hp tic instead of 6) ;)

For the boss you can just keep your shield up and rotate around her at close range till she vomits then get in a few easy hits. If she starts swinging her sword that's a good time to back up some and slip in a flask during a horizontal swing. She has an AoE around herself that is kinda dangerous but honestly she takes action so slowly that it's easy to get a heal in. Just make sure to move her around a bunch so she isn't getting you surrounded by lava.
The NPC Narshee mentioned is a huge help as well though if you rely on her you need to be kinda aggressive on the boss since she doesn't stay alive overly long. I'm at the Anor Londo boss so if I can get that done and we are in level range I can come help if needed. I believe I actually attacked her while she was swinging at me because her swings kept wooshing over my head if I was standing really close to her and I switched to my polearm.
Carbuncle.Josiahfk said: » The only truly risky part is: Keep your eyes on her body at all times. if quelaag looks like she fainted, run as fast as you can. it's her most damaging move where a sphere of fire dmg blasts out of her for massive damage (if all her normal moves do 300 do you while naked and that move would do 600) but for her normal weapon swings you can get closer and they miss or back up a bit and they miss. extremely small hit box. Trick is to always keep moving, she'll punish you if you wail on her. You don't need anything for the fight really just quick thinking. Even naked. you got this Lakshmi.Kittykite said: » Asura.Ina said: » For the boss you can just keep your shield up and rotate around her at close range till she vomits then get in a few easy hits. Bismarck.Narshee said: » /stabs KK voodoo doll oh you will.. She was almost dead too. What I did with her was only attack when she was puking lava and play keep away other wise. Might be slow but better than dead!
