DNC - Hand To Hand

Is there really any reason for a DNC to skill hand to hand? I don't ever intend to level MNK or PUP so other than that I cannot really think of a real reason. Anyone have any other thoughts?

Not really, unless you plan to solo one of the jailers or one of the limbus zones, I forget both of their names at the moment though.

it's nice till like... late teen levels... but past that, no there is no real reason to level it

I was levelling it because I was OCD about blue skills, but then I realized I had parry and throwing skills.

depends on how you intend to play, if your never gonna level mnk or pup up then for all intensive purposes skilling hand to hand would not be in your best interest. alone dnc dose get its hand on one blue trigger with hand to hand. My personal view on it is before dnc got dual wield natively when i was leveling it I was dnc/mnk til i got my hands on dancing edge(D.E.) all dagger skills before don't really pack a lot of punch so to speak. you do get access to Rageing fist with /mnk way before DE comes into being, buts that my personal view on it.
most ppl say after lvl 20 no more /mnk but i say see for your self and judge.

I have it skilled just for the sake of having it, but I do only use it in damage-types Limbus and against Temperance.

It's like this, scheeee? We really only can use two types of damage, piercing and blunt. Most of our swords do piercing damage (except Griffonclaw), and arguably our best easily-obtained slashing weapon is Vampiric Claws (which is H2H). So skilling H2H gets you both Blunt and Slashing. That said, when do you need to use blunt and slashing? That's right! Almost never!

Great! So basically what I'm hearing is it's useless. Why would I be procing on DNC in the first place anyways lol.

Cause you enjoy getting random crap that vendors for 5-10k while farming seals?
