Kazham NPCs Crash POL Since May 2012 Update

Any advice here would be great, GM and support centre haven't been much use. I tried to speak to the VW npc Hildegard to begin that path in Kazham and POL crashed. I had approached from the jungle rather than airship so it was the first npc I spoke to in that zone. I logged back in plenty of times and tried different npcs. All Kazham npcs make it crash. Nowhere else is affected, including other Zilart areas (done Rabao CS). I've done file checks for pol and ffxi with no results. I tried without windower too. Theres a weird set of random symbols appear as I log in, including some jp writing and the area sometimes reads (N/A) instead of Kazham. I'm considering a full reinstall but I would rather avoid it if possible.

I used the VW NPCs in Kazham this afternoon, nothing happened to me. Don't know how to help you sorry, good luck.

have u tryed running a file check on all the files not just the ffxi ones even the playonline ones if nothing comes up on that then the only thing i can say is do a clean install and see if it fixes it then we can go from there.
