Still playing from time to time, had a bet with a friend the other day where we each took Witch Doctor from 1-60 as fast as we could.
I won but only because he forgot about exp gems.

I recently picked it up again after quitting in June because inferno was too impossible, back when it took like 15-20+ mil in gear just to get through act 1. Well the very same gear now, most of it even better, only cost me a total of like 400k (lol) and I basically facerolled act 1, even elite packs. Act 2 and 3 where a bit harder, and I got stuck at Ghom for a while before I revised my strategy/build. Act 4 I trained the last few zones because I just wanted to finally beat the game >_>
It would have been nice if it was like this from the start, but I suspect prices have dropped along with the game population, since there's barely ever more than 500 people in public games. It's sad that the Diablo franchise will probably end on such a low note... oh well

I started again a week ago or so, but on EU server, so completely from scratch with 0 gold etc, and it's taken me around 30 hours to reach act 3 inferno
Also,im level 50 wizard atm and looking to play with people on EU servers. Will post battletag tomorrow since im in bed on my phone atm. Im near the end of act.3 on nightmare and suspect im a much higher level than i should be because i have to keep going back and doing stuff with my friend

A little over 14 hours, hit 60 in Hell Act II.
Gloom nerf really hit my duh hard... I'm able to solo MP5 with a fee deaths tried act 1 MP10 first pack I found had 30m HPper mob x.x

So yeah as I said a few posts up, I restarted on EU servers, and that means I have some gold on NA server I don't need.
Anybody that did it the oposite way and want to trade some of their EU gold for my NA gold? :P

I got 3 legendaries in one run too last night, which is impressive considering I've only gotten 2 others ever... though I'm still pretty pathetically geared and farming act 1. MP1 is about my limit; combined with losing 2k armor in the patch, I really can't survive much more without some serious gear improvements. Hopefully I can do that since one of the drops I got seems to be worth at least 100m o.O

Most of the best gear are legendary/set items currently for every class =/ (Awesome yellows can still be as good)
Not for WD I can tell you that much. I use Vile Wards and Flamewalkers but that's pretty much it. Legendaries are pretty much useful to the extent of seeing what kinda stats to search for on rares and buy for a much lower price.

They definitely upped the drop rate for legendaries. It seems like more than double to me. I don't play much, but in doing 3/4 of act 3 Inferno (MP0 because I was just trying to progress rather than farm) I found 3 legendaries (doubling the number I've found ever). Only had about 100% MF after NV (ie. no MF gear at all). As to the quality...well, there are legedaries out there worth having, but the 3 I found became brimstone.
With the other recent changes I do feel like I find better gear overall, but at the same time have not been able to upgrade a single piece of my mediocre armor since the update. Most things seem to be almost as good as what I already have or worse, but not much worse.

So any legacy bats DH here? Trying to figure out what y'all doing to get around gloom nerf, currently using perfectionist with boar familiar and guardian turrets, finding that I'm a bit wanting for hate regen now that I'm no longer using bat.
