WAR? I'm a versitile. My gear isn't pure damage, pure haste, or pure anything. With one universal setup I can parse nicely, hit fast enough to satisfy myself (*** everybody else caring if I'm 12% instead of 13%), and can do things like tank Seiryu on WAR because of skill and rounded gear. I've always loved it because of that.

DRG. I have a universal set up like Eternaltriumph except for Healing Breath which does quite well in parsers and I like being able to solo with an infinate supply of MP because of my Ethereal Earring and cheap MP cost to get a Healing Breath off. Getting a cure for as much as 700hp with Deep Breathing for the cost of a Dia is very nice.

RDM at soloing cause it's high level enhancing and awesome enfeebling.
SMN lazy soloing cause avatars can beat the ***out of stuff real well without you having to swing your weapon or cast any spells!
BLU Spell zerging =D Cause no other job can do that!

MNK... pure hand to hand combat, so simple yet so effective. Hundred Fists can crush most NMs, add Dodge and Counter to the mix and that MNK can't be stopped.

I guess my BLM even though it's only 73 at the moment, reason I say that is it is somewhat better geared then my drg right now (until I can get sea access and some gil)

SAM/THF, theres nothing better than before NM fight to meditate to 300% then sekkanoki, then SATA Tachi:Gekko the tank > Tachi:Kasha > Fusion.
Then Sam 2hr. Gekko,Kasha SA Gekko,.. Woot just did 5k dmg.
