i'm 76 with my items and 110k guild points. i'll certainly have 78 by sunday and my rod then, but i'm fishing to help level my cooking mule. so, i'll i wont be able to start on haks til she is a bit higher. the main concern with haks is the line breaks. most likely the minnows or sinking minnows are going to be 2-5k each. even 100+ fishers go through 10-30 lures a day, and if you lose too many you'll end up paying to fish. you don't want that. i'd pick something a little safer personally, but that's me. if i'm not fishing for mats i'll go to abyssea and fish pelozeas and turn them in for noddy rings. they are decent gil on ah.
