Nyzul Uncharted Static -- LFM
If I'm not particularly lucid at the moment, it's because I have been playing the Ix'MNK drinking game.

Hours and hours and hours or work with nothing to show for it. I do like the drinking game idea though, except I'd be dead. Thank you, can only second this :) And to everyone, I know this is a recruitemnt topic that Russ made. I simply wanted to ask why he write as he did, not making a huge argue, offending people. I know everyone has different oppinions wich is a good thing, otherwise the world would look, well prolly crazy! So again do not take this personaly, and I'd pm Russ to apologize, never aspected this to go out of hands. Offline

Only means he hasn't actually been scanned while wearing it - look at the rest of his gear that has been scanned, I really don't think it likely that he doesn't have sam af3 +2 body. Edit: here, I went and checked him for you: Asura.Eurewyen said: » Well I have a job wich are not allowing me to havemuch playtimes, and also have time for the family, that dosen't makes me "lazy" or less worth as player as mediacore player, no certenly not. I'm dedicated enough, when ingame helping my LS doing things, just don't have enough time to do an empy LS anymore, but again dosen't mean I'm as player are less worth. If you don't have one, either you haven't been playing very long, or you are spreading your efforts over a large number of jobs and not specializing in any. I've been playing 9 years and have only 3 jobs. How long have you been playing and how many do you have? Looking at your profile you have seven at 99... so to have invested the same effort in those as I have in mine, even if you're a hardcore player who plays a lot, you would've had to be playing for about 23 years. Neo-Nyzul is HARD. It requires the hardcore players, or specialist casual players. Some rag-tag group of people with mediocre gear who are excellent at their jobs can't just walk in and do it without some major luck. Literally every single second counts. If a relic DD would've killed something one swing sooner, that MATTERS in Neo-Nyzul. Even with the perfect team you need luck, so every slight improvement you can make in your team makes a huge difference. Not saying that the fast & hard relic/mythic/empy-only rule is a good one. I think there are exceptions like the TP Bonus SAM or Hoarfrost/Borealis DRK. However, it's still a good bar to set when looking for serious players. If someone is serious and thinks they're competitive with a relic/mythic/empy DD, they could always ask him anyway, doesn't hurt. I've gotten into groups with my Hoarfrost DRK that way, even though they asked for relic/empy only. It's like on a job application when they put "4 years experience required" half the people who apply will never have done that job before. Hi Pergatory, I have to disagree on the first part, but that's me. "I don't think the "busy real life" card really cuts it anymore. This game is almost a decade old now. Even the most casual of players, if serious about a given job, will have a relic, empy, or mythic by now." Well its matter of oppinions really, someplayers have alot more time even if working fulltime job on side, but I haven't. Normally I only play during weekends, unless it is my work weekend on tornus scheme, and I work evening night's and have a transport each day back and fourth for little over 2hrs 30min, and I walk all from 10-25km each day, so when I finally get home I'm busted. And so when comming to weekends it general gives me less playtimes due to beeing tired etc.. But you are all entilted to you oppinions. You have to account for the fact that this is a massively-multiplayer game with one difficulty that must apply to all players, casual and hardcore alike. If they make everything accessible to casual players, then the hardcore players will get bored. Neo-Nyzul is a hardcore event. You don't "need" anything from this event for anything at all, ever, period. If your real life hasn't afforded you the opportunity to spend much time in-game, and thus you haven't developed a job to the bar of entry for most Neo-Nyzul groups, then you really should not be trying to convince people to let you in their group anyway. Instead, you should be doing the events those people did to get them where they are: work on a relic or empyrean weapon for example. Those are accessible to casual players now. People solo and duo Dynamis very effectively. Requiring Empyrean/Relic/Mythic for Drk and Sam? What the silly is this.

It really does come down to the player themselves, hence why I handpicked all the DDs in my succesful nyzul 100 group so I could know that they actually did damage and not just got a LS made Ukon. Funny how only one person answered the whole topic with being interested in the static. While the rest are arguing over the same argument people have been arguing for the past 10 years of ffxi.

No excuse to not have a empy/relic or something well geared with a magian weapon. Even if you have only two hours a day, you can make it count. It's annoiying hearing "I'm busy". Wish I were on your server OP, no one on siren will do nyzle isle it seems lol :/ good luck.

not really. if they desired one, they'd do it.
Quetzalcoatl.Newty said: » Two things: 1. Where are you getting 400->440 enhancing... no. 500 Enhancing or /goodbye. really not that necessary SCH's without 500 skill are clearly gimped, that 1 extra regain man
A SCH with 400 skill vs. a SCH with 500 skill is not nearly such an extreme jump in relative power as a WAR with a Widowmaker vs. a WAR with a useful weapon; don't even attempt to make it seem like it is.
3 posts in this thread and I can already tell what kind of person you are. Just stop while you're ahead, it'll save everyone a lot of frustration and you a metric *** of embarrassment.
And if you're curious, assuming absolutely perfect parameters and your regain from Embrava is up for the entire 30 minute duration of Nyzul with absolutely no interruption from any factor whatsoever (not going to happen) and no TP overflow, that extra 1/tic regain is worth a whopping... 6 maximum extra weaponskills.
