Didn't see a thread for it and figured that this is an appropriate section to post it in.

Dang that's really too bad. I missed most of his career, as I wasn't born, but by the time I knew who he was, he was an icon. Always seemed like a classy, all round good guy.

Do you realize that the whole End of days with the Mayan calandar has actually already passed since they had no Daylight Savings Time or Leap years calculated into that hunk of rock they carved on?

That's too bad.

He's just been awful since he had that stroke, though. I felt so embarrassed listening to him attempt to countdown from 10 this past New Years Rockin' Eve... it's about time someone else took over. >_>

Do you realize that the whole "As a matter of fact" thing is a total buzzkill.

Well, has nothing to do with the daylight savings thing, just the leap year part.

Oh well then in that case:

The leap year only exists on the Gregorian calendar because it is inaccurate to 1/4th of a day, which is why we add back a day every four years.

The mayan calendar didn't need a leap year, and it's already accounted for in the conversion that we observe today when converting it from their calendar to ours.

There's plenty of information on the internet you can do research on for this sort of thing. I honestly was hoping you were trolling.

But anyway, so long ***. You were excellent in that one episode of Saved by the Bell.
