Also worth noting that the Japanese version of Blade Bash's update is 15--->5.
3:00 or 5:00, I approve of a fully-lowered blade blash with one merit upgrade. Ikishoten is too useful to not have 4/5. But it's been killing me recently not being able to stun like I used to do.

Blade Bash = 3m
3m blade bash will be kinda nice tbh. Still won't have a spot for Skikikoyo though.

3 minute Blade Bash is an excellent improvement for SAM. I like that a lot.

weapon bash was lowered to 3 min, why should blade bash which is basically similar in all aspects not be the same
I finally have a reason to merit it 1x lol. Same with shik if the tp shared is good.
No room for Shikikoyo really. You'll want 5/5 Overwhelm and 4/5 Ikishoten still, leaving 1 slot left for 1 JA. Blade Bash is the superior JA of the two.

There is more to fighting a worthwhile mob than just yourself, SAM will always have decent extra TP from time to time with double attack. giving that person at 50tp a boost will bump out another WS in 1/2 the time, two WS better than one, and maybe even doing some sort of SC. (inb4 lol SC) either way that's my two cents in the matter
That's ridiculous and has never been a solid argument for meriting Shikikoyo. ...for more reasons than one, mostly that Blade Bash will end up benefiting your group more than giving the inept DD who can't build their own TP part of your TP.

Sorry wasn't clear I meant taking 1 merit off Ikishoten to unlock it. blade bash is a must no argument there lol
Would make the other 3 merits, or at least another 1 of them, worthless. Ikishoten's worth comes from a large burst of TP from a Zanhasso attack, usually cutting off an extra two attacks from your x-hit on that round. Removing merits in it negates this purpose. Losing that virtue for giving a gimp DD in your party TP isn't worth it; and yes, they're gimp, as if they weren't they'd be gaining TP just as fast as you, or at the very worst slightly slower.
