I know this is a little early but ive been thinking about the bonanza having Khroma ore added to the Tier4 winners list.
My question to you: Would you select a Khroma ore or a Behemoth hide if you won a Tier4 prize?
(assuming those are the 2 choices you give yourself for max gil reward)

Khroma here, just because it would benefit better in the long run. It is also worth quite a bit more at the moment on my server.
I'd go Behe hide. 400k for Khroma and 540k for Behe atm. Plus, Behe's used in more synths as far as I know.
I am hoping to get a feel for what the majority of the player base will choose, also know that even if more people go with behemoth hide the price of these will fall. how much they will fall and how fast/much they will rebound is to be seen i suppose. But i think choosing the K ore will be the best bet seeing how its demand is much higher then that of the b hides.

Tbh.. I don't think the demand for khroma is higher than that of Behe with the amount of players wanting HQ and even NQ dusk.

the demand for hides will remain high, but i think khroma may be just as high or higher depending on what the imperial wootz do. If price drops enough on the ingot i can see demand being high because of ingot hoarders and for people taking advantage of the lower price to collect the 12 needed for a future salvage body piece. But if ingot prices remain at or close to pre-bonanza prices the demand on Khroma wont rise much if at all.
The only ones that will really benefit from it are people with high Smithing. Even now you can make over 100k profit on an ingot on Fairy. Where Dusk is a 100-300k loss per synth on NQ.
I think its ironic that Bonanza is being released when JP is asleep seeing as its an event they can do anytime lol
I would go with the behemoth's hide. Khroma ore is nice and all, but my ls gets it pretty frequently by doing ANNM's as of late
Ive spoken with atleast 30+ people on uncicorn and the consensus so far is behemoth hide. i know 30~ isnt alot but it is the start and already the pattern is favoring hides.
get either of them...wait a fee weeks months untill there isnt 20+ on the ah anymore then try to sell
