Limbus is 5x runs a week, if you do them, and if you do more there's just points no rewards.

Sortie you need to do daily if you want to finish within a year.

Free play is in 2 weeks for ~10 days. Use it as it's supposed to be used. See if you want to come back and grind like a meth addict again or not.

Save yourself a hundo with the test week

it should start may 15th (or the 14th if youre one of the lucky ones)

Im actually ok with that kind of grind, that's like half a mythic. At least it doesnt feel like ody or omen where if you miss it its wasted money which is good but no goal to work towards. Thanks again

I'm just gonna keep being a broken record here: you don't have to either commit to a static or play totally solo. Every other day there's a post on here from another person asking about solo because they don't want to commit to a static.

If 50 of you got into a linkshell, there's 0% chance you couldn't slap together an 8 boss sortie run with whoever's online, whenever you feel like playing. You could set something up impromptu same-day, or make a twice/week static. Or anything you want.

Also the exaggeration of years of commitment is overblown. You can upgrade JSE to +4 in an hour or two. You can get a piece of the new limbus armor in a single day, probably multiple pieces. If you want to rank it up to max (depending on set, this might be more or less important), it will take a few months (per piece, average), but...it's a returning player. They can take that at their own pace.

Getting a prime weapon stage 4 (usable, very nice weapon) is 60 decent (but not amazing) sortie runs. That will take a year...if you do sortie twice/week...

It takes a year to get the new limbus armor...if you want an entire set, fully augmented.

Wouldn't it be much more disappointing to hear "yeah, the only content released since you left is simple, you'll be finished in 3 months"?

In that case then yeah. There's no gil from either. The gil drops from limbus are pennies. You only lose progression there's no pressure to go farm swarts every day etc

They're both just grinds to be ground

....of course if you do come back, will be penalized for not doing the daily omens for those swarts... so... yeah...

Murky/Alabaster parts are half a mil
shards are 1-2 mil

On Asura the parts are like 20-30k or so. But the Shards are 500k-1m depending on race, week, and stock, so he's incorrect there. You can make like 10m/wk depeneding on the stock.

I expect the mats to go up once they release weapons.

Shards are pennies. They come from naturally clearing each tower asa party, you don't have to go out of your way to farm them.

Where as the loss of not 6x single running swarts every day. Very different feel. Grind out all 10 limbus in one day each week vs ~48 omen runs that must be done at least every 3 days.

Swarts are pennies too, btw, before you go trying to compare them

The fact that you have to edit yourself six or seven times means you know you said some dumb ***, but you reread it a bunch of times and are trying to make it sound less dumb (for the record). I'm onto you.
