Can my macros differentiate between two pieces of the same gear, one a TP built cape & the other for WS without gearswap?
Cheers

Cheers I use gearswap but with the ingame gearsets as long as a duplicate item is in a separate wardrobe or type of inventory then it will be able to differentiate. So if you have a WS cape in wardrobe 1 and your TP cape in wardrobe 2 then it'll work, but if they're in the same one I think it'll work not-so-well.

Hmmm ok thanks! I'll give it a try!
I believe if you're using equipment sets, as long as you never move it from that storage you can actually get away with keeping multiples of the same piece in the same storage. This makes it good for stuff like finished ambuscade capes, but bad for stuff like reisen augment gear which you may swap out at a later date.
How would I change the dats of a specific family type so that I can't see them in game?
Has anyone ever tested the resist status rates from Flawless Ribbon or the Resist Status Moghancements?

I think a JP magazine listed the ribbon at +2%.

Over the years I have noticed these phrasings pop up in log and was curious what the difference was:
-the xxx misses Vedder >vs< -Vedder evades the attack -Resist! Vedder completely resists xxx~ >vs< -Vedder resists the xxxx Is this what happens when a trait kicks in? When you pass an evade check that somehow passed an accuracy one? Is ygnas the best healing trust now?

What exactly is "chance of successful block + x" is it a straight % added to block rate or is it multiplicative off the base rate?

Leviathan.Vedder said: » ..... -Resist! Vedder completely resists xxx~ >vs< -Vedder resists the xxxx .... When it comes to enfeebles (which is what I'm guessing the above text refers to), a message of "completely resists" happens when a mob/mob family/job has a total immunity to that particular enfeeble. You'll see that especially on low level NMs in beginner zones that have a resist silence trait, and even though you're 70 levels higher you still can't silence. But the message of just "resist" means your meva/MDB/barspells/etc kicked in and you resisted an attack that you were susceptible to. It's a straight % but it's accounted for after reprisal (i.e. not getting the 50% boost) so it won't bring low block shields like aegis to stellar numbers unless you have tons of it Leviathan.Vedder

I had no idea that you had to start a new chocobo egg to be able to request a brand new chocobo whistle LOL, so I went to got my chocobo mount and now I can call my old red chocobo and dig for parsley :D
I'm playing SMN, but for some reason I can never see my avatar do certain animations. I can see the Blood Pact Ward animations just fine, but my avatar just idles there whenever I use Blood Pact Rages or send em in using Assault. I can see in the log that the rage goes off or my pet whacking the mob, but on my screen, they're just sitting there idling. Any idea??

Is there anyway to stay awake during Domain Invasion Sleep Spam? I tried poison pots but it didn't work. Is there any gear you can switch in which will wake you up? Or do you just have to pray to be woken up?...
I usually switch in my Opo necklace and start reading a book... Siren.Kyte

Frenzy Sallet, Berserker's Torque, or Vim Torque.
The real way though is to solo it and/or stay behind to force Spike Flails. Offline

Menu > Quest > Completed > Toggle left until you see Coalitions
Today one of my characters randomly starting having their HP/MP bar show twice down in the corner that shows PT info. Is this a setting I accidentally turned on?
Only happens on this one char and not even on other chars on the same account. Offline
