When dual wielding Tanmogayi +1 main and Colada off-hand for BLU, what Colada augments are sufficient for the casual BLU that wants to be able to hit things in end game but doesn't need to parse #1? And which stones are best for the suggested augments?

I want to make the combined gorgets/belts/sea obis, if i farm up all the ingredients can I have someone else with synergy leveled make it for me? Or do I need to have it leveled myself?

Pellucid is the best for lots of acc/att. For much better chance at utility stuff such as multi attack, Fern is the way to go but you sacrifice a big part of the chance to get high amounts of acc/att. Taupe is potentially the best afaik but the chance of getting good numbers of acc/att along with lots of dex and some multi attack is VERY slim with that stone.

The best possible augs you could get (no DM) are:
* +20DMG
* 20 acc/atk (25 with pelludic)
* 10 DEX (15 with taupe)
* +2 Crit%/DA (+3 with fern)

But as such unicorn does not exist, I would try to get the highest acc/atk you can and some decent trait. I am happy with 16DMG +20 acc/atk +2 crit% ( weapon dmg won't do much especially for off-hand so some dex would even be better but I got bored after a while spamming stones)

Don't remember the name, only that it's avaliable from abyssea using the echelon trophys.

Alternatively see the ebony set which is crafted through synergy.

The body piece appears to be Shikkoku Togi. That comes in black but there are red (Shinku Togi) and white (Ginhaku Togi) alternatives.

Edit: As mentioned, the one from Echelon trophies looks to be the black variant, and is a much easier colour to obtain.

Have been soloing some of the Avatar V2s on BLU with varying success for REM pages. Ramuh is being a sh*t with his Thunderbolt spam, and when he turns on me he has an annoying Add effect for 500+ !

Is there a way to proc !! the avatars? Or remove this add effect that i don't know of?

I'm trying to start chocobo racing but can't figure out how to start the novice circuit races.

Old wiki doesn't say anything about this, BG wiki says something about doing "race against others" during raising causes you to be "invited" to the novice circuit races. I've done the "Compete against others" thing multiple times (at least twice since adult, and even when the bird wasn't bored), and I only lost once. I've registered the bird (I even re-registered it today for updated stats) and chosen a team, but the race NPCs in the back room still say "It seems you have not yet fulfilled the necessary requirements for race eligibility. I'm sorry, but I cannot sign up your chocobo." Thanks, old SE, for your legendary helpfulness.

Apparently what I haven't done is the novice circuit races. Great, so how do I start the novice races? What the hell am I missing and why isn't it in the wikis after all these years?

EDIT: apparently it's the middle person at the nation entrance desk, for Windurst that would be Rungaga.

Using a JA, WS, or spell on it while it's casting or using an ability will proc it. Each one will terrorize it briefly; getting all three procs should remove the add effect damage. Damage and procs reset after it uses its SP ability.

Hmmm... I did think that WS procced it, but I was having zero luck playing earlier today. That said, i was on a tethered mobile connection as i'm on a train journey home, so it could easily be lag.

Edit:: Just tried Ramuh on N on a real connection & PC. Spanked him silly. Procs landed easily.

By the books, probably Attentive Ibuki / Swooping Zhivago. It has a 50% resistance to slashing, which is what the demon uses, right? Plus a 50% resistance to wind and fire magic.

I ask because I've been trying to solo Lord Asag, but he kept charming me. So I decided to just engage him and stand back to just have my trusts wail on him. He used Nocturnal Servitude on Valaineral who didn't seem to be affected by it. (Was able to beat him with just the trusts).

Doing Wings of the Goddess missions for my roommate's alt.

She currently has "Cait Sith" in her log, and "The Queen of the Dance" is next. I finished all the Bastok Nation Quests up to and including "Burden of Suspicion". Queen of the Dance will NOT trigger. Is there another requirement to get off the Cait Sith mission?
