[dev1092] Save TP Adjustment

  • Save TP will be treated as a minimum guaranteed TP value that will always be obtained a weaponskill.

Examples, assuming a Save TP value of 20:
25 TP weaponskill: 25 TP obtained.
15 TP weaponskill: 20 TP obtained.
Missed (0 TP) weaponskill: 20 TP obtained.

None of the 3 updates have changed at all, I'm not surprised one bit.

That's because all the feedback was centered on the idea that 50+ TP returns on WS are not overpowered.

For 13 pages people asked to either nerf the atmacite or put a cap on save tp, but not change the mechanic. We got a demented answer from Rukkuri about conserve tp and save tp stacking and the rest was completely ignored.
No one complained for there being a nerf, but there were much better ways to do it.

It's a forum, they want people to use it and talk nicely to eachother about how the game is going and what do you think about this?

Oh, you thought we were going to send back the feedback and possibly change anything? Sorry if you were confused, but we never intended for that to happen. After all we make this game, so we know best.

I'm not even pissed at the fact itself that they don't listen to feedback, but that the reps say that they do when it's clearly not the case.

So what effects does this have now to save TP, and more specifically the save TP atmacite? Still kinda fuzzy on these changes?

Yeah the whole Bst vote for the new pet fiasco was the last time I made any effort to be heard in an official capacity over there. The way that played out was enough to see how much feedback is taken into consideration...

Save TP is now a Safety net, It Maintains a minimum possible TP Return.

If your Save TP is +20, You'll never get less than 20TP on a return, If your WS gives you 24, you'll get 24, if it gives you 10, You'll get 20.

Get it ;o?

Kind of like when you're on hold and the voice is assuring you that your call is important to them?

If it was that important... (you get the idea).

Get it ;o?

It is going to function with this saftey net in addition to it's previous functions? Or in replacement of the former mechanic?

Ew >< Nice of them to decide that after people spent zillions of cruors to upgrade it.

Thoughts on 2nd best atmacite now behind the regain one?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is a terrible idea. Can weapon skill pretty much nonstop if you get your hands on enough save TP gear. Pretty soon, everyone is gonna just say forget mod gear and just put save TP in every slot. Who wouldn't rather WS non stop, literally?

If you cared to read you would know that people didn't complain for the fact that a nerf was going to happen, but for the idiotic way of doing it.
