Self skillchaining can be done by almost any job... now with that and /sam I'd imagine a rng might be able to pull of a solo 3 step skillchain without meds.

There are plenty of good hats for ranger.
Optical hat- when you need racc (easier to obtain than the rest of this list)
Wyvern Helm- STR +5 - AH cheap.
Wyvern Helm +1- STR +6 (White box... 2M+)
Hunter's Beret- Rattk +5 + Rapid shot activation
(TP piece)Zha'Go's barbut- racc +8 rattk +8 -5 enm Snapshot
(WS piece)Gnadbhod's Helm- STR +6 DEX +4 Attack +8
Slow +5%

hehe you should see my blm... god so much gear changing I litterally use like 60 peices of equip and I could use more lol and probably would if I used all the cool spiffy windower stuff

About all I have is Ohat, but I need moar damage not acc.
I had a chance to ninja lot a Zha'Go's barbut on a shout party run. He lotted a 91, the odds were for me.
I might invest in a wyvern helm, its only like 30k.
I have relic hat with recycle D:
you must be very poor. I'd only break out the relic for farming or something.

And omg this "nm" has about as much hp as its PHs same goes for def and acc/evasion not sure about attack since I killed it before it even took off 1 set of shadows.

The only things I'd recommend changing are the feet (which are just for movement speed anyway) and the neck piece (Qiqirn Collar if you can get one, or Jagd Gorget will do almost as well). Oh, and /NIN needs to gtfo.

Na... ive been a ranger since pre ranger nerf patch.
Skadi feet are very good for shooting because str 3 racc +5. Better than tping in rutters which are free... basically.
I use PCC because as you can see my ranger is very heavily stacked with STR. If I wanted more damage and if I was comfortable with shooting and not missing- I would use Justice torque for an extra 5 STR.
