I know your pain on NMs. I've got to be at least 0/20 on Viscount Morax for the Dark Spirit Pact. Yet I see people selling 3 or 4 them daily. Curse their luck.

i got my hairpin synced and exping off flies in Valk. I was pulling as 15SAM and claimed him completely on accident. Luckily i noticed once I saw "Nieko's ranged attack misses the Valkurm Emperor" and had enough sense to drop sync while running. 30 secs of kiting on a prayer and the 40drg in my pt dropped him. No one else in the pt had any interest in the hairpin luckily enough. Pretty sure I pissed off a couple campers tho.

LOL yeah. Me and a friend have been trying to pop Buburimboo for the stupid Miraculous Dale quest and just CANNOT pop the little ***. Same goes for Jolly Green...I really think that NM is a *** myth ; ;

You know, I have that quest too and never bothered with it. Maybe now that I can actually kill some of those NMs, I might try it again. Figure it's something to do while waiting to get Wyvernpoacher.

Yeah, me and a friend picked it up together, it's something to do when we're sitting there bored out of our skull waiting for events to start, etc. The money ain't even that great, but it'll be nice to have it in my "Completed" quests ^^

Nieko, I did that with a funguar NM in La Theine (I think it was La Theine). I dropped levelsync and just battled it out hoping I wouldn't die before it wore. Fortunately, my level while level synced wasn't much below what was needed to kill it.

I've never camped a NM besides LL, and that was only for a day (one claim and no drop). I'll probably go WHM/BST (for widescan), and bring my girlfriend along for TH.

That reminds me. Has anyone had a problem with FFXI crashing while in the mog house? She would go to check her delivery box, change jobs, or check plants, and instead of the moogle's normal speech it would say something like "IzabellaQ(N/A)". (Note: her char name is Izabella. Not sure where the Q came from, and it wasn't always tagged onto her name during this error)

Also when she was sending items out, she had a similar problem. When she highlighted a box, it would put "x" in the chat log. Three lines of x each time she talked to the NPC (after the NPC said his line).

Several FFXI restarts later the problem was still there.

Nope, can't say that I have. Usually, my only crashes are during Besieged or a heavy campaign battle.

Charm is a really good way to claim a NM, especialy since there is nothing faster then that.

Speaking of GMs, I was very close to calling a GM on a *** in the dunes yesterday. I was killing lizards to complete a FoV page, when this guy trains all the lizards. I send him a /tell letting him know that I'm trying to level here. His response "That's nice. Me too. Alchemy". I made a comment amount common courtesy.

He followed me around for several minutes purposely waiting on lizards to spawn near me. The last straw was when he pulled a mob as I had my weapon out and was about to swing. If he had done it again, I was going to call a GM on him.

I really hate the lack of courtesy some people have. FoV requires a whopping 7(I think) lizards. I was at 2/# when this started. Instead of taking me a few more minutes to complete this, it took me 20ish minutes.

Though on the other side, I've had nothing but good encounters with people in Pashow. I'm a bit outraged over the price of water crystals (up to 2k+ some days) so I go there and farm water elementals. Coincidentally, it's also where people farm leeches and crawlers.

Most people instead of hacking away at all the mobs send me a /tell first. Usually they're farming stuff I have no interest in. Only once has someone came to farm water elementals. I left to go craft for a bit (already had 10 stacks). Not very long later (20-40 minutes), she sent me a /tell saying she was done.

It's as simple as that. Some people just don't care about anyone but themselves. I know it's always been that way. I've played since NA release so I've seen it. But that doesn't mean I'm any happier about it.

It's not often, but I have my moments of running into jackasses too when I'm out hunting or whatnot. I don't expect people to go out of their way and move to a different zone or whatever, but just the simple act of acknowledging another person's presence and not running up to an enemy that's right next to me is good enough.

There have been plenty of times when I'm looking at a monster and someone else is too, but I'll turn around and look for another. I guess not everyone is as considerate as we'd like them to be.

Only courtesy I've gotten was soloing BLM in bibiki bay. Campers put up in comment what camp they're at. If they see me they would tell me how much longer they'll be at camp and put my name in the comment saying I'm next for the spot.

Otherwise I've had a bit of trouble farming cuttings in the sanctuary. THF comes rolling in and /ra goob's that i'm going for instead of taking the one next to them.

Krizz, has your lady done a check file to see if something went corrupt?

Kung, there wasn't a single person fighting lizards that I saw all afternoon.

And I don't have the same prejudice against the dunes that most people have. I've had just as good and just as bad parties elsewhere.

Edit: No, we haven't tried a check on the files yet. If the problem persists today, I'll give it a try. What's the easiest way to check ffxi files? (other than reinstalling)

LoL I dunno read back a few pages when you guys were making lists and rating girls, and somehow das was after krissy, then me, then row on lu's list and u said I knew some were "girls" lol

So I figured that's his list lol

my list only had you and Savvy, Jax maybe if she shows up more often. Other than that, Im not interested

Anyone ever notice some ppl put same screenshots as others do :/ If they just need a place to host it, why not just use one of those free sites to upload...
