I've been ET since like four weeks into my FFXI days. xD I think one guy caught carpal tunnel typing out my full name, and Eternal. So they decided on ET and it stuck.

I was baptized catholic, and went to a Presbyterian church for 16 years.
I was also baptized Catholic, and went to Sunday Mass with my dad for like 10 years. When I hit the ripe age of 16, I stopped going with him, mainly due to the fact that I was shitfaced from the night before and couldn't make it to 11am mass. Ever since, any time I'm in a church is for a wedding or a funeral.
I honestly loved church. I went to sunday school until I was 12, and then I helped with sunday school until I was 17. Hypocrites is what kinda drove me away from religion though.

I just don't believe that any religion is right. There have been 'religions' and 'belief systems' since man was capable of cognitive thought.

I think religion long ago did serve as sort of a deterrent to crime and deviant actions. If people believe in hell it makes them think twice about committing a unforgivable act.

I haven't been to church since a funeral and the last before that was when I was 12 years old.
Well I guess if you count a church that the pastor is dressed like a thug and wearing gold all over like if they were a rapper and the church singing music r&b style, then I went to one because an Ex wanted to go pray there....Then that same night, he tells me he went to church to pray that I would forgive him and not leave him because he kissed another girl....
So I don't think I want to count that as going to church >.>

After going home from that, he calls me and starts spilling his guts that he slept with someone else after I just left his place. So it was over completely from that point.

As for the girls with "helicopter" parents(w/e the *** that means)... I've partied with girls who were straight A students, they actually managed to balance school and partying, which was good on their part.
Back then, if I had a priest that looked like a thug, I'd probably would wanna go to church. Now, I'd shake my head and have an intervention with him.
