Omw to school I think. I had 0 period so I couldn't catch it on the news before I left not like I watched. Whole way there I had this really bad feeling so when I walked into class first thing I said was wtf happened and everyone was just staring pointing up at the TV which normally wouldn't be on.

It was crazy, phone lines didn't work due to congestion and my place got dustier a lot quicker for a little while.

Yeah, here in Madison all government buildings immediately went on lock down, all schools, even places like the DMV had armed guards out front. My ex needed to renew her driver's license before she moved, and we literally got wanded to get in the building. I remember saying something about "What are terrorists gonna blow up the Madison West Side DMV? LOL" and the guard gave me the most withering stare. Guess it was too soon...
tbh, I had the mentality of I was safe. >_> eight years ago 125th street was still pretty run down. Terrorists don't want ***to do with the ghettos. Downtown was FUBAR'd as far as I was concerned though.
