Is it just me or does it seem like alot of suggestions for ffxiv seem to be just like world of warcraft. I dunno I like how FFXI is without all the glam and easiness.

Yea I don't want the new mmo to be a lazy game, for that I'll just stick to WoW.

I've seen a few. The whole customizable thing is eh ok idea but WoW has same thing. You can go to the barbershop there to get diff color hair, etc. I just think more different styles and colors yes but not make it changeable after already created.

I've seen it a few times. I gagged and almost impulsively insta-listed the person(s).
Also, going back like 32 pages before I was drafted to work, MS *WAS* working on Alyria's idea about having a party watch a movie together. However, I think it was Netflix-on-360 exclusive and not actual DVDs.

Yeah...FFXI in itself was a good system. People cry, *** and moan about Quests not giving gil but um. It took seven years for the economy to blow to ***. Gil is fairly hard to create because the only way it's gotten rid of is AH fees. Nobody buys stuff from the NPCs.
Only issue with FFXI that really needed to be addressed was the creation of having to wait four *** hours a day for a NM to pop which has a 4% drop of something really wanted. Thus meaning 100+ people there to claim a mob that pops every 24 hours, for a 4% drop.
That, and the leveling system was omfgboring. That just needs a complete revamp...

It's a training bonus that helps give gil and exp that people cried about when they start the game. 50 gil coupon yay. lol But its not a quest from an npc in your nation that tells you to go off get x amount of item and bring back this item and get a crappy amount of gil,item, exp.

I agree, but I wouldn't be surprised if SE is looking hard at WoW right now for some ideas. They'd be foolish to not want the penetration Blizzard has with WoW...
