I'm more of a GH fan than RB fan. Everyone knows RB is a knock-off to GH, just that they added more instruments.

Well what happened is Red Octane and Harmonix worked together under the name of Activision to make the first few guitar heros, then they split ways under separate publishers/producers. However, it was already planned under the guitar hero name to create a multi-instrument band teamplay based game. Unfortunately Harmonix teamed up with EA and beat the GH folks to the punch by creating Rock Band first. Meanwhile, Red Octane was busy buying time and recuperating to create a better version of it (World Tour) while working with Activision still as well as Neversoft.

I might have some company team ups mixed up but that's essentially what happened.

now here's a question... what kind of game musician are you? Do you move around while jamming on the guitar, or are you stiffer than morning wood?

I'm a show man, most of the songs on GH3 I already have memorized. SO I'd move around while I play, very fun :D

Well if I started Guitar Hero I'd be a stiff board for a bit, then would just shift around after I got the hang of it. I'll be a noob at GH

I only hold still when I'm actually striving to get a good score/not *** up. If I'm on quickplay and simply wanna play my favorite songs and have fun you better believe I move around.

Nothing worse than seeing a live band in concert and seeing everyone just *** stand there. Totally defeats the purpose of going to see them live. If I wanted that I'd buy their live album and listen to it in the comfort of my own home on the stereo without having to pay $40+.

You guys needa add me on xbox for these games, I get bored playing solo on rockband.

I would except for whatever reason I let my friend borrow my xbox until he gets his repaired for the 23085230582085th time. He got one of the first release 360s... Yeah, the one that gives you the red circle of death or gives a disc read error for everything every 2 months.

I remember there was a small contest on campus where GH3 was the game to play.

The two guys I saw just stood there, guitars on the waist, standing still, eyes glued to the screen. MOVE AROUND MAN!

Hell, even when I'm doing career mode I move around alot, even the tongue gets some air time :P

Why doesn't he just trade it in for another one, that's what I did for my old PS2, I needed the right version to play ffxi on it and had to go to 3 different gamestops for it.

I still have the PS2 and PC versions of FFXI, I had to buy a 360 to play FFXI. Yes, it was THAT addictive, and it was my first ever MMORPG.

I play on all 3 lol PS2, PC, & xbox :P

well, my PS2 is first gen, so by the time I got FFXI, the laser couldn't read it right. My PC is not for gaming, so FFXI didn't work on that either.

I usually have to flip my ps2 up or lay it down to have it read the new discs for ffxi. But it eventually works on mine. It still reads PS1 games on it so I'm happy there.

I love this Mafia Wars game on FB. I get to attack people at random and snuff people out.
