how JP school works
Seriously, this is how it works, from an American's point of view:
When you get to Jr. High, you have to start working your *** off so you can get into a good high school. Meaning, no more social life. I doubt you would even have time to play FFXI (which explains the JP to Westerner ratio on this game).
When you
finally get into a good high school, then you have to work your *** off even more to get into a good college. This includes, but not limits, to: Cram Schools, Library camping, bringing a campbag with you to school, having your own "personal" space for after school, no social life, etc.
When you
finally get into a good college, you get to slack off for 4 years.
When you get out of college (which is suprisinly simple compared to USA) you get to work your *** off for the rest of your life in a dead end job forever. Unless you are a woman, then you get 2 choices, work and die for the company (for less money) or marry and die for your husband (for no money).
That's how it is in Japan. All in one short post.
