My only question is, if you're going to cheat, why not just go to a private server and just spawn everything in your inventory?

So we basically would need to beat it, redeem the KI for a piece of gear we want, wash, rinse, repeat 5 times for a whole set? Yea, its pretty much a joke now with a solid group. Ours consists of x2 Ragnarok DRKs, x2 SCHs for Embrava/Healing/Hastes/Phalanx, Ukon War and a THF for TH. We have been successful 3 times in a row. Basically adding onto what Dramatica said. other than the fact that you cant overshoot, what has made this so much easier? last i heard it was still a struggle to even get above 80
People started using Embrava.

Basically adding onto what Dramatica said. question, why do you need TH for neo nyzule? arent boss floors 100% drop? if so wouldn't you do even better subbing the thf out for another DD? You don't need, but a good THF is still decent enough damage and helps on the 1-3 boss drops. A group that couldn't get 100 without a better DD than THF would be best off doing that.
Have personally had floor 80 boss drop nothing, unsure if 100 can be the same, but possible that it isn't 100%.
I still feel like you're not missing out on too much if you can't/don't want to bring a THF.
I mean 15 successful runs to get 3 amazing sets of gear? Edit: for all 6 people, lol. THF is mainly for alex
What's Clipper? :s

Are we ABSOLUTELY sure that the "get a peice of gear after so many wins" is from another floor? Or is it just that floors loot :<
question came up today and id like an answer, im way curious. The drops are not 100% maybe 1 piece is on floor 100 but thats doubtful, either way we got 2 pieces off floor 100 and iirc I saw a SS on BG where a group got 3.
Mandau THF can keep up in nyzul with ease anyway~ Don't listen to that ***, he doesn't know what he's on about

Bringing a DD instead of that THF slot would be alright if you wanted to pull ahead and have an even greater chance at getting 100. Honeslty just like having the THF for multiple pieces at 100 to complete sets faster. Linen will be there waiting!
My theory is this.
You have to progress in stages of 20>40>60>80>100 in order to consistently climb higher. There's obviously a reason the floor you reach was recorded on the Runic Disk each time, right now there's nothing in stone about why but I believe it's to track you're progressing the way the game wants you to. The last 3 runs we did (WHM, THF, Relic SAM x3 DRG) we progressed 20>40>60 with ease, locking our targets so as not to overshoot, and each time we reached the boss floor, the next run seemed to increase the range of ??? floor jumping. On our 60 run we ended up killing the 40 and 60 boss with 7 minutes to spare in 1 run, couldn't go any further because of the lock but we got where we wanted. Our next aim is obviously lock at 80. I theorise that the player who takes you in / up should be someone who previously beat 20 / 40 / 60 in that order and not a random shout group person. I know it sounds weird but this is how I think it was designed to be. after talking to the npc it seems you win so many floors and u can trade in the KIs for the NEXT floors loot, i attempted trading in the KI from floor 20 and it gave me choices from floor 40, i didn't have enough however
