Running over 300% I believe can flag your character server side for flee hacking.

I'll ask the people who know this stuff, but basically if you go full retard the server is more likely to notice and someone will step in.

Either that, or someone GM'd them.

If you run too fast in starter areas you'll get auto-jailed.

They didn't do it legitimately.

Is this even substantiated or is it just something people throw around as an "accepted fact"? I had an array of trial accounts awhile back that I used for camping KA and since I had literally just downloaded Clipper I was messing around with the functions and accidentally left one trial running with clipper on across the zone at max speed.

Nothing happened to it. Of course, it's not something I'm about to go test. Maybe if they had trials again.

No idea honestly. Just the consensus from people/threads from that community.

If anything it's an attempt to make people use common sense.

Without Clipper, but with Lamp Dats and Wireframe, it's very doable. You should at least be getting 80+ consistently.

Without Lamp Dats though, it's next to impossible, but can be done.

Wireframe also helps a lot.

Ir's a huge time saver on order floors, and still speeds up things like same time and code by knowing how many lamps there are. Any time saved is a big increase to your chance of reaching 100.

Switching lamp dats changes the name of the lamps to Runic Lamp 1, Runic Lamp 2 through 5. Knowing which is which saves huge amounts of time in order, and knowing if it's code helps a ton too.

Spending time on lamps is a deal breaker for hitting 100 pretty much.

Wireframe helps mainly on specific enemy(not enemies, though it helps there too) so you can /check mobs through walls. It helps pretty much everywhere so you can see where your target is in kill specific enemies and enemy leader floors too, not to mention finding lamps.

Clipper is obvious. Going through walls and being able to be at the target mob in an instant is a giant advantage.

I know there is an autojailer, although it doesn't seem limited to starter zones. It's poorly implemented though and catches players with lots of lag more commonly than it catches speed hackers, which enables the speed hackers to just say they were lagging and get off the hook scot-free.

This thread got boring and dumb since the 800% flee hack rumor. It's clearly that there is some people spreading lies on bg. No way that you can even control your character at that speed unless you're running a straight path or you 're out of the map/walls which is useless at that speed. Anyways ... If you value your account my best advice that i can give is : do not use "Flee Hack" since it's detectable and someone can GM you as well, the game is full of jelly people and xbox users. Thousands of accounts have been banned since the release of ffxi because of it. seems people don't learn from this.

You seriously need to jump off a bridge or something, I have met few people as stupid as you. 99.9% of the things you post contain complete vomit. But yes use clipper at your own risk in nyzul, even if they are not actively monitoring it, all it takes is a GM call to get you banned/suspended.

This entire post is a vomit, so you're. By posting irrelevant and assuming things that you don't know.

For those not following the BG thread, multiple groups have been GMed now. Maybe Tanaka is raging that people are getting gear that was supposed to be nearly impossible to obtain and is in full revenge mode. >_>

Or could still be another reason I guess. Just might want to be careful.

Would think latifah would be more happy in Nyzul themed threads, it's the only event where SCH is relevant.

Or,I know this is a crazythought.....but people MIGHT be getting in trouble for being caught breaking the ToS by cheating....I know, its pretty

if you ask me,but who knows!

On Bismark im seeing and being told people going to floor 100. No one admits to using flee hacking and clipper of course but obviously its being used, and SE arent stupid :P. Good luck to them, is all i can say. I wont touch the thing. But with the armour being the hardest to get im sure once the ban hammer starts to hit, anyone that was in that party (caught cheating) that hit floor 100 will be banned and will take the rest of the party with them, just like salvage bans. The fact that you knew about it and didn't report it is a violation and perma ban offense in the ToS. Im told Clipper is a 2 day suspension of sorts. Thats nothing concrete and a discretion of SE. They can simply ban you for good if they choose.

Good luck to them, cause when SE comes hammering down, i know my account will be safe and secure lol

UPDATE:

Reading the BluGrtr forums, one person who didnt use any hack or clipper or anything is now facing perma ban. Reason given to em was the fact that they knew it was being used and didnt report it, thus making them equally guilty. Salvage Bans 2.0 seem to be the right term. Good luck to those that have already used as if they have been monitoring for a while, many are falling off the grid :/
