Hello, got the salvage dats from

here and I've had them before but I wanna be sure before I ruin my game install, after I run that manafont .exe it leaves you with a ROM4 Folder, you just find rom4 in your ffxi install files and overwrite that right?

Backup the files it's going to overwrite before you move the folder (you'll know which ones if it gives you a ROM4 folder, just look inside. Or just copy ROM4 and put it on your desktop before moving the new ROM4 there).

If it's the kerberoz pack, the one with prishe art during installation is all ok, it does just replace dats for mobs on first floor of zhayolm where some mobs drop cells (mobname<cells>) and some doesn't and it's discernable who is who from dats.

Other dats are just funny changed names like toad *** for frogs and KILL ME FIRST or KILL ME SECOND and I DON'T DROP ANYTHING for citadel chelonian

Long story short: it just replaces mobs names not models. Manafont was the name of kerb's domain and personal blog about ffxi

so, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong now but I've ran that prishe .exe and it leaves me with a "ROM4" file with dats in it

I take those dats and copy/paste over the ROM4 dats in my steam > ffxi > whatever folder but nothing is different, any tips? :<

my maps for nyzul are updated.. just no mob names/flan models/any of the other stuff it seems :<

In Bhaflau Remnants2 all monster are called NPC , Socket , BlankName

I think its cuz of the Manafont Salvage dats. Anyone know how to Undo this?><

I think manafont salvage dats still work for old slavage but it break the new dats...
