effing sweet dude youre a lifesaver (it was her very first playthrough and she is extremely agitated).

Ripping is the quick part, uploading to my server is going to take some time, since I'm limited to my IP's upload speed.

Well I made it into a torrent file, so if anyone wants to help me spread it out, PM me and I'll give you the torrent link. Figured it might be quicker this way. So far I only have the install disc on server.

I finally got a hold of the graphics thing. Going to try it now. The original source still isn't working so if anyone needs it let me know.

I got home a little while ago and the torrent is up to 23 seeders and 100+ peers, lol. So it's definitely a fast download now.

I tried looking the other day but I have been busy sense I went to work yesterday and my internet was down last night (phone cut off that I'm sharing from upstairs) and I was way too drunk to bother going back up to fix it.

Don't you have to use Winxp or 32bit compatibility mode or something like that?

from what I read it said it was supposed to work in 7, as for the compatibility settings, tried that too.

as for windows xp mode, it's not worth it for any gaming application, no acceleration support.

mine's been at it for hours, funny thing is I could go get the discs and be back in half an hour (they're at my mother's house).

too bad it's not working, I forget how I got it to work last time (didn't know they had a driver update and I crashed the patches I had made when I tried to apply the remixer).

If you ever get a problem like this i will make it simple for you

go into the files for ff7 on the computer and find the video file that is not working, copy a fmv clip from another file and paste it with the name of the file that is not working. The game will play through but when it gets to the fmv it will show a different one. I had this problem as well with another cutscene. If your girlfriend needs to see the cutscene she can see it on youtube or another site.

chaos what's your folder layout look like, basically according to that site it says I need the save files, and a cfg file before I patch it with the driver, I can't load it beforehand so I am going to create the folders/files manually.

yeah does not seem to working for me either on win7pro 64b, install worked, tried various compatibility modes. Don't feel like looking into it further right now.

downloaded the torrent from chaos and everything is working perfectly so far. even managed to make it past the groundhog day like scenario of the cosmo canyon planetarium cs. thanks again^^

I fixed my not installing error by deleting my old folder that had it in it manually (uninstalling didn't take care of it)

cleaning up the registry (ccleaner ftw)

restart.

install ran

replaced files with 1.02 patch

then added the custom driver files

to edit the opengl.cfg you have to open notepad as an admin for 7x64 with uac enabled.

then edit it and save, or you have to save elsewhere and then manually place the folder, once that's done you can run the config and select the video renderer, select custom driver.

bam.

oh also you create a folder called "save" and make save00.ff7 through save09.ff7 and the input.cfg file all in that folder (you may have to download a file from like gamefaqs)

now all that's left me for to do is hunt down my current save file, import it figure out how to make my button rapid fire for that stupid minigame.

I suck at the speed square minigame, and want to get the amount of points to get the 1 of a kind item (I forget what it is and I know it's useless, I just want it.)
