This is exactly the change that summoner needed. I applaud SE for their grasp of game balance.
Interesting the max prep cost of elementals is 20 if I recall so this would make it only 5/tic if going 5/5 neat.

Now I know why everyone hates the DEV team... The elementals still can't even cast over IV spells. I can see the next one coming...

Woot can now use lightspirit to be a super healer!
If a party/alliance member is on low HP and lightspirit is facing that person, it might just toss a cure V/curaga IV, (or it might decide to recast haste on him/her again.) All for no MP cost!!! something something something
something something I'm glad SE is doing a lot of job adjustments...but the problem is that so far they're all been more or less pointless.
i never have my elementals out for more than the few seconds it takes for my syphon macro to work, so i dont see the point of this.

i feel like they gonna raise perp cost for spirits,anyone thought about this when they saw it? XD
I really hope SE fixes the issue where tarus appear to have no visible knees while running. This is the kind of thing that brings an unenjoyable and frustrating imbalance to the game that needs to be addressed sooner than later.

Lol there's so much negative response to the SMN update on the forums, they had to try and say something to calm the ****storm. And lol at the people argueing that elemental perp cost merits are useful... that's like trying to argue that carbuncle is the best avatar to use, fulltime.

Then I clicked. I find it amazing that given equipment set ups, you can get away with having an elemental spirit out with perp cost down to a minimum and even with 1-2 /tick refresh.
I know this has made one elemental spirit fetishist in the official forums have an orgasm, much to the the annoyance of others...
