Hello Bismarck people! It's time to try and take over castle ostroja [ S ] in order to do Plucking Wings next week now that we have 6 of our zones in windy control!

I've noticed that if you kill the boss-NM leader of a given defending army (such as Shadowwing of the Shadowwing Infuriators) that army group will warp out soon after the NM's death. So for zone-influence purposes, I'd suggest killing off all the normal defenders first, then pull the NM last (or just leave the NM if they are too hard.)
Perhaps a good time to start might be thursday or friday night, that way people on Bismarck will know a few days ahead of time.
Although honestly, I never actually seen where Oztroja S Fortifications. And it really sucked that there's no offensive ops to gain some influence in addition.
Anyway if we pull this off this week, I might try to plan something else like attacking northern lands. (Yes I know that the gear's outdated and stuff, but I'm sure there's some people who might want the Nocturnus Mail and Helm)

Count me in! I'll head over there during the evenings today and through the rest of the week see if I can't make a dent in that area. I usually stay away from bird areas because of the whole 'HAY GUY IM TAKING YER ARMORZ OFF LOLZ" attack move that they do :>

I read this statement over on another forum and I was wondering if there was any validity to it
I thought Campaign didn't work that way? What that guy was saying is to just to kill the mobs in the zone? Do the past areas gain influence over areas in the same manner as the present (conquest areas)?
I thought campaign influence was directly related to the fortifications in the zones.

You want to focus on just the campaign mobs, they'll be up sometimes even with no battle.
Also I believe we need to hold all the other zones as well to have access to the bc, so we'll need to make sure we dont lose any in the process.
I'll prob be available to help out with that. Could use a roundel

Oh no. we just have to control oztroja S for BC access.
It's the northern lands "Fiat Lux" that not only requires Medal of Altana but having at least 4 areas under controlled around your nation

alright so the main plan is to keep all other zones safe then. I'll go work on that, I need notes anyway :P
Kind of have to do a double -effort, work on taking over Oztroja, and keeping other zones safe, simultaneously.
Could probably do it with as little as 2-3 people slaughtering castle and 2-3 people slaughtering other zones.

Obviously if a zone is safe you don't need to worry about it.
The satisfaction of destroying those birds in their own territory pleases me.

So far Fort Karugo-Narugo, West Saruta and Meriph influence seems good today.
Sauromogue is losing windy influence and garliege has none. Going to try to get those areas back up first

Now that it's Friday, with 2 days from tally, It looks like it's time to get Garlaige and Sauromugue back up while we go attack Oztroja S

I'm going to go and try to regain influence for Sauromugue and Garlaige S right now. This is our chance to keep these areas under windy control while attacking oztroja S.
I may make a temporary Linkshell for this while we at it. Gonna need all the help we can get! So time for us to fight as one!
I almost forgot to mention that if planning you're switching over to windurst S, just make sure that you will still have Iron Emblem of Service Medal to be able to do Plucking Wings for before hand as switching will make you lose 2 high ranked medals if you didn't switch to windurst the first time. But if you're at the highest medal then you're fine. just make sure you have at least 12 medals before switching
Took a bunch of mobs out this morning in the castle dropped forts to 289/300 , garlaige and and sauro are doing terrible we've got almost no influence. Hung out in Garlaige for about 1.5 hours but didnt see any mobs to kill and no campaign battles.
