I'll have to check my title history.. had captain for bout 2 years now..
Awesome work dude. I know this has been an issue for a long time now
strangely this makes me wanna finish my last few assaults to get captain... must complete all this things -_-

I am having the same issue. Where is the data being pulled from? I did a guildwork scan and my Captain title appears under the "Titles" tab. An I required to log out of FFXI?
who do I talk to get the Title changed to Captain? Taru BRD in whitegate?

Updated just fine with guildwork and my title is now Captain, in case anyone is having issues with it.
If you don't use/want to use guildwork then just change your title and be sure to keep it on and log out with it, so on, so LS community picks it up and changes it on your player page.

My issue isn't that my title didn't update--it did. My issue is that my rank didn't update.
Of course, on my profile from before the server merges... (Seraph.Rosalie) it DID upgrade to Captain rank... but that was before the initial sweep.

Good deal, I'll go grab Captain title when I get home. Now they just need to fix Synergy and the high-level relic/mythic/empy weapons.
(Relic/mythic/empy should be do-able now that the linkshell community supports them.)

Can always update your synergy with guildwork.
My title is already on captain.. my assault progress is still @50%

Mine still shows as First Lieutenant, but I am Captain.
Since it pulls the info from the play online linkshell community, I checked that and indeed it still has me as First Lieutenant. Question is, how do we make sure the play online community updates with the current information? After I made Captain, I began An Imperial Heist, the quest that requires one to obtain 8 titles. I wonder of that is confusing POL?

LS community is NOT the one that has updated, Scragg simply made it so if you have the title recorded on your known titles on this site (which records them off of ls community) and/or if your guildwork has the title listed (which is instant) then it will update your rank to Captain.
It's quite possible that when you got captain your title changed quicker than LS community recorded it, so you never had the title on the LS community website so FFXIAH never pulled that title from your player page.
You'll have to buy the title back again for 300 gil and keep it on until LS community updates (which takes awhile, few days) or you can use guildwork to do it instantly.

My captain title is recorded to title history on FFXIAH since yesterday.

For anyone having troubles here are some conditions that need to be met.
LSC = Linkshell Community
1. You must have a valid LSC profile set. So make sure your LSC URL is going to a correct profile.
2. You need to have the assault section public on your LSC profile.
3. You must display "First Lieutenant" on your LSC profile.
4. You can still use Guildwork Client to get the title, but the above conditions must be true and you will need to queue for update.
Achievement points are calculated every 30mins, so be patient on that.
So basically when you queue for update. I see if you're a First Lieutenant (on the LSC) then I check if you have the Captain title, if so, I promote you to Captain.
