I'm wondering if anyone on the server would be interested in hanging around and doing some entry level abyssea/dynamis runs to help me out as I will know literally no one when I can finally return to the game since my server has been wiped. I've played since 2003 and stopped late 2009ish before the abyssea add-ons so I'm eager to check out the new content since 80 cap

I was able to pull for dynamis back in the day and do limbus which I feel would have had a larger learning curve :P

Good luck on returning, it might be hard for the first few weeks due to the fact everybody's pretty much got everything however once you get there, you'll be doing great.

Good luck on Shiva too, not heard much about it. Bismarck is where it's at ;).

Sounds exciting lol it'd be cool if anyone could help with my 85 90 95 and 99 caps also :P

I'll be returning sometime in the next few days after a 3-month break. Even before that, most of what I did in Abyssea was solo, (due to due to a long break after 80 cap, up through our merge with Shiva), so I still have a lot to accomplish.

Feel free to send me a /tell if you see me in-game. I've still got to get zone boss wins in at least four areas that I recall, and two more Caturae.

The level caps are all fairly simple up until the newest one.

80 > 85 requires four merit points and five Kindred's Crests.
85 > 90 requires five merit points and ten Kindred's Crests and a repeatable Rock-Paper-Scissors mini-game.
90 > 95 requires ten merit points, one Kindred's Crest, and one of an item randomly chosen from this list:


The 95 > 99 quest should be the only one that requires something other than an exp party to accomplish.

I'm also interested in getting Dynamis clears (only have San d'Oria so far), mainly for Relic gear and the new +2 items, but gathering up currency never hurts either.

Welp, I am in game most nights (EST), and I am always down to help if any of you returning players need any with anything. Wether it be seals, lv caps, BCNM's or just navigating the JP shouts and crowds in Port Jeuno.
