Provided you're not getting attack buffs, most likely.

Current maximum defense down we can achieve:

Double Light Shot Dia III (-50/256) + Angon (-64/256) + Indi-Frailty (-32/256) + Box Step 5 (-33/256)

Leaving the enemy with just 77/256 of their defense (almost 70% reduction). This is the equivalent of 3.32x your attack. So versus a 1000 defense enemy, you'd cap out with 676 attack,lol.

Oh wait, Indi-Frailty can be Bolstered! So you can operate effectively with 5.7x your attack (the enemy's defense would be 171 and you'd probably be capped with no gear)

Could you point me in the direction of where the proof is that you can double shot debuffs with COR? I can't find this information.

You may or not be able to, but the value I used is actually the value with one light shot. I don't think you can double up on Dia III, but you might be able to on Dia II. The max you can get X/256 is I think 50 or 51.

Otherwise I can quickly confirm this in Brenner. BRB!

Dia II alone is 53/256 if doubled. Don't need Dia III

Actually I think I misunderstood

Dia II with Light Shot is 39/256 and Dia III with Light Shot is 103/512. I don't think Light Shot doubles nor can you stack two of them.

The /512 values on BGWiki were giving incorrect results compared to observed defense down amounts.

So you're saying light shot doubles defense down from Dia? If it's 5% it's probably 13/256

From the original test!

Quote:
For reference:

Cast Dia III on a Limule, had COR friend use Light Shot. It transferred Dia III.

Normal Dia III DEF down is 15%.

DEF before Dia: 546
After Dia: 435

So Dia III and light shot is 52/256. (103/512 would yield 436)
Regular is -39/256, so light shot is indeed -13/256.

As to whether or not you can enhance it twice, it is still a mystery!

If it caps at 50/256, who cares?

It doesn't, it seems to be 52.

And maybe you can go past that! I'd like to test it, but we don't have combination of Dia III + Corsair available and Brenner is full official matches forever and I'm not doing Limules.

I was going by that

I don't think there necessarily is a cap on /256 for dia, but the most you can get is 52. I don't think doubling light shots will work

There's hearsay going around that it does work, which is why I want to test it.

Good to know!

Either way, my example above is using the wrong value!
Current maximum defense down we can achieve:

Light Shot Dia III (-52/256) + Angon (-64/256) + Indi-Frailty (-32/256) + Box Step 5 (-33/256)

Leaving the enemy with just 75/256 of their defense (almost 70% reduction). This is the equivalent of 3.41x your attack. So versus a 1000 defense enemy, you'd cap out with 659 attack,lol.

This is assuming defense down doesn't have a floor, but it doesn't seem to at least for enemies attacking us. (Aegis Schism sup) There's probably no need to cap defense down due to the ratio cap (unlike the need to cap haste).

You can double Light shot on Dia II so don't need a rdm! My JP legion ls ldr tested it I just asked again.

Thurandant Gloves : DEF:29 DEX+14 AGI+14 Accuracy+10 Haste+3%
Might have a place in a high Acc TP set. For a discussion of their Exenterator viability, see the bottom.

Thurandant Tights : DEF:48 AGI+17 Ranged Accuracy+17 Enmity-5
For a discussion of their Exenterator viability, see the bottom. Not useful for anything else.

Exenterator - Thurandant Gloves and Tights are competing with Skadi's Bazubands +1 and Thaumas Kecks. Specifically, this is:
19 STR, 19 AGI, 35~36 Attack Total, 15 Accuracy Total
vs.
31 AGI, 17 Acc Total

Difference: +12 AGI, -19 STR, -35~36 Attack, +2 Acc

12 AGI is a lot, but you lose half that much base damage in STR and a ton of attack on top of it. It really isn't worthwhile. This analysis also applies to both pieces separately. I will personally only be going for body and head.

Not that they technically exist yet... but would Xux Trousers defeat both?
And then Chocaliztli Mask take over the head slot?

Currently we use Thumas Nails, Thaumas Kecks, and Thaumas Hat for Exenterator:

STR+20 AGI+37 Attack+28

Switching to Xux and Chocolate:
STR+18 AGI+42 Attack+24

Delta: -2STR +5 AGI - 4 Attack

Using my estimation formula from ages ago that should still apply

--> +5AGI - 0.5AGI - 1.33 AGI ~ +3AGI change.

It's probably slightly better but the improvement is very slight considering how difficult these pieces will likely be to obtain!

So we're looking at:

ItemSet 242341

And

ItemSet 274882

Khepri Jacket is a worse option than it ever was for either because of the ratio cap adjustment and it's actually reasonable for us to push >2.0 in our WS gear versus many targets. After SE stomped on Khepri Bonnet with the equivalent of cruor gear, I wouldn't consider Khepri Kecks to be a very sound investment at this point in time.

(Jupiter's has 6 atk augment.)

Here is what I use, potential upgrades being Khepri jacket and myrmex mittens. (PW despises me.)

Might be late and you already figured it out but there is a ballista version as well that you can reserve in Ru' Lude that doesn't have official matches if that would work as well for testing anything.

ItemSet 234043

Should be "ideal" for stacked Rudra's Storm. That aside, Jupiter's Ring, if you didn't do it the first day the quest was out, is not a worthwhile venture and you should just use Thundersoul. If they release +8 stat rings, your effort on the ring quest will be in vain!

Love and Justiciar's are going to be really close, if you have STR buffs Love is probably definitely better, but you won't be using it on other WS and your stacked Rudra's usage will be less frequent than your other WS, so it may not be worth carrying around.

Downgrades for sanity:

Khepri Jacket --> Athos's
Khepri Kecks ---> Athos's
Myrmex --> Thurandaut

Unstacked is a bit of a different story.

Unfortunately I don't have any Thaumas and it's sort of a paradox.
In order to get NNI, I need to spend my Shells/Scales/Claws on Ukon, upon which I could use my Ukon to get Thaumas for Dnc, that can no longer have Twatstar. :(

Regardless of where the new gear comes from, Kupo will be able to kill it, the question then becomes, how long is the line, lol.

Assuming this isn't photoshop (and it might be fore various reasons), anyone want to calculate how much base damage the Skirmish dagger would need in an augment in order to surpass Terpsichore?
