What's the longest you can get a samba to last?

144 seconds with AF1 head and the new Saber Dance.

+some more if you have the samba duration atma on, but please don't infuse that.

That means my Drain Samba will last longer so I won't have to cure as much! :D

<__< Or that your Haste Samba will last longer so things die in quicker succession.

o-o or I can Aspir Samba longer and have more MP for /BLM to stun with in case things get hairy!

Keep suggestions obtainable. Tessera Saio is pushing it in the Ex set, Kudzu Aketon is next best.

Kleos: Ghillie +1, Aias bonnet probably, thaumas kecks, myrmex mitts.

Wouldn't the ghillie earring be better than Aesir for the Pyrrhic Kleos set?

I keep forgetting about Myrmex Mittens because they keep not dropping, lol.

Possibly thaumas feet for kleos too.

I would spreadsheet Aias vs. Ocelomeh for Kleos in a few situations, but I'm feeling super not-energetic due to a fever.

For the moment I'm going to continue with the assumption that the +3% TA +5 dex wins out!

The Kleos set also assumes Saber Dance is up (Acually all of them do). It's also the set I'm the shakiest on.

Any thoughts on my post from the last page? (Sorry for side tracking, but I am curious and figured I might as well bring it up when people are talking ws sets.)

On a side note, I would assume Aias > Oce+1 for Pyrric with all that STR.

Thaumas Kecks for unstacked Rudra's? You'd lose 3 DEX but gain in STR, and acc for additional hits beyond the first.

Just a few questions:

Pk: was suggested to me to use Cua +1 head for this but that was before i got toci's. Should i go ahead and sell it while its worth something or does it have its niche uses somewhere

Unstacked storm: no such thing but i pretty much use this setup for SA ruds (/thf in dynamis of course). Comparing it to the CF ruds setup, im not understanding why you would use brutal/rajas/epona in one setup and brutal/rajas/thundersoul in the other. What im curious about is if you're gonna have the switch from epona to thundersoul for a buffed WS, wouldn't you switch out brutal for a 4 Dex earring? Or if 4 Dex isn't enough, then how much would be to be better?

And finally, is it still safe to assume that if you're closing an SC you should use charis+ 2 hands or has that changed?

Sorry if this has been asked/answered but in order to get the samba bonus from empy +2 armor do the pieces need to be equipped only when the samba is used or for the duration? I keep the bangles +2 on me for RF macro anyhow so just wondering if I should put into my samba set.

This used to be a lot easier, but now we have so many "good" options that it makes it tough to sort it out on my own :)

For Evis, in reference to abyssea vs. outside (Dynamis and the like) vs. Voidwatch:

My main question refers to the use of Rajas, Epona's, and Thundersoul Rings. Which in each situation would be best for Evis? Trying to perfect my ws sets and thats the only one I'm having doubts with. :(

Also assume no Athos or Thaumas yet, since I figure that may potentially work its way into becoming a deciding factor.

Jupiter's with Atk+ and Epona's would probably be the best option inside Abyssea, but outside Rajas + Epona's should be better.

It's probably not worth it.

Also, since you're 2/5 on Thaumus, consider Thaumus gloves too, to make it 3/5. You trade stats but it's worth consideration since you get +5 stats instead of +2.

Hume DNC/THF(otherlightjobstoo) HP with HP merits is 1488.

I'm only 1/5 Thaumas myself (hat). I've cleared twice, took Nares pants + Thaumas hat.

I meant in the before-mentioned set.

Oh, sorry. My brain doesn't work right now. I think if you make that switch, it actually comes out sort of even, probably slightly in Thaumas's favor if not on an Athos day.

STR7 DEX7 vs. STR5 DEX13

A bunch more accuracy, but meh.

Pretty unimportant, remember that it's a DEX modded WS, so you're going to have way more ACC than normal anyway.

Is the 3 STR + 10 attack on Myrmex Mitts gonna beat the fTP bonus on Athos Gloves? Or is the bonus on athos not that great?
