If possible do you think you could edit the OP to add Optimal WS sets for Evis, DE, Exten, and Rudra's it'd be very helpful thanks :3

I agree that it would be nice to have it all in one spot, but there are threads for that. Also; is dancing edge really still relevant? From my experience it seems to have been left in the dust...

Coruscanti isn't broken.

We just weren't looking at it right.

Well, I'm like 90% sure at this point that it IS working, but I can't say anything conclusive as to exactly how yet.

It's not very exciting if it's doing what I think it's doing.

Off topic but @Sylow I was checking your profile to see if you were still online and possibly going to post something else tonight, and I saw you had random jobs leveled to 7 and stuff like that and it made me feel a lot better about myself and my jobs/crafts. Just thought I'd let you know.

To just rebump this sylow posted coruscanti testing results in its own thread

edit: beat me to it!
thank you TONS for doing this testing sylow

Edit #2

Kind of a strategy asking question, i fought tunga solo for one of the first times yesterday. Basically it turned into an apoc/zombie/evisceration kill annnnnnnnnd it hella sucked

I went in not knowing he casted break and breakga, and apparently slowga resets hate which makes solo/duoing him fairly difficult, I'm gonna need to kill this guy 25~40 times for itz so i was wondering if someone could help me out

WELL.

Tunga spawns in one of two modes.

In mode 1, he spams spells constantly, rarely melees (if at all?) and is nearly impossible to trigger.

In mode 2, he mostly melees and casts spells occasionally.

Chainspell causes the mode switch.

If no one has fought him and wiped to him after triggering a chainspell, hell chainspell 3 times: at 75%, 50% and 25%.

If you stun him just above a trigger HP%, then quickly drop his health below that amount (usually via a WS), he will not chainspell for that %. He must be stunned when his HP drops below that % or he will use it.

So basically, if he spawns in melee mode, just keep him stunned at the proper times and he'll never chainspell, never switch to OMGWTFCASTING mode, and he's easy as ... me after four or five drinks.

If he spawns in magic mode, zerg him down to the first chainspell %, hope you survive chainspell (buy a fool's drink with dominion credits maybe), and then keep him from chainspelling again!

Hope this helps!

We're getting some intense new gear!

http://juliandev.com/ffxi/TEST2012-03-09/ArmorFR.html

Sorry that it's in French. If you need a translation, let me know. But most things are pretty simple, lol. Precision --> Accuracy etc.

Sadly, this beautiful set:

Doesn't have very good stats. Also, it appears to be "abjuration" gear, with NQ and HQ versions.

Although the HQ head has Waltz Potency +8%, lol? As well as STR, DEX, and Accuracy! Because we need more waltz potency on the head to compete with our Anwig, and we obviously need STR, DEX, and ACC while we're waltzing!

It's scattered through a few posts but you can also find english translations here. If anyone's wondering why there's no english dats with the stats on Julian's page, it's because SE has a habit of adding stats to gear in the JP/FR/DE dats before they add them to the EN dats on the test server.

Ummm...I AE burned all of my KIs (had 3-6 other people with me to hold them) and I think it was much easier than farming/popping/claiming. I ended up going 49/50 on the last set so we ended up trying to claim tunga to build one more. Between the massive competition and tunga being well...tunga I was glad I went the burn route.

Fool's drink like Sylow said. I solo'd it on THF90 but it's not effective if he decides to nuke you into the ground. If he spams Slowga/Breakga, you're usually okay, but if he goes Stone V-> Stone V-> Stone V-> Stone V, you're usually deaded. Lots of luck, but its do-able.

Random -Dancer- Question: Can double attack proc on a Violent Flourish?

Don't think so, VF gives you TP as if you hit once. A DA would have been noticeable by now.
