Tachi: Shoha
No. Just do TP Bonus
That DA set doesn't have enough STR imho. It's not "bad", but I wouldn't use it personally.
more or less my set,any aadvice? dunno if avant gauntlets +1 is better than unkai imo Looks pretty optimal. What are the augs on the head? Iirc you needed damn well near perfect augs to beat Mekira +1.
wsd 3% attack 5 skillchain dmg 2%,still looking an answer about the avant gauntlets +1 XD anyone plz
2270 Unkai+2
2276 Avant+1 2285 Heafoc Windbuffet > Ele belt too unless you need the ACC. Question relevant to Voidwatch:
Would using Atmacite of Latitude be better than using Atmacite of Coercion for Masamune using Tachi: Shoha/Fudo? For Kantonotachi using Tachi: Shoha? The only real benefit of it is TP Bonus +50. That would add 0.3875 fTP to Tachi: Shoha from Masamune, and 0.25 fTP to Tachi: Shoha from Kantonotachi, assuming you WS at exactly 100% (I'd think Masamune could make better use of it with Hagakure.) Is this enough of a boost to make it superior to Regain +3? (and accuracy +10 for T6 Voidwatch monsters). What's the top 3 Necks and Belts for Tachi: Shoha? Are the Elemental Necks/Belts on top?
Edit: In order if possible. Bahamut.Bojack said: » What's the top 3 Necks and Belts for Tachi: Shoha? Are the Elemental Necks/Belts on top? Edit: In order if possible. I don't think i can double attack and triple attack at the same time so I don't really buy that the windbuffet belt is actually .12ftp. I'd estimate a 20% DA rate with /war and gear. QA and TA take priority over DA, so if anything it would devalue DA. Beaten :( Well did they calculate for the devaluation in double attack then? It's such a minor amount of triple and quad attack that DA is nearly not devalued at all, 1.164934 vs 1.17. TA and QA grant a 5.5% attack frequency increase on top of the DA.
17/2/1 = 1.234534 QA/TA no DA = 1.0696 17 DA = 1.17 It really isn't worth it in situations where accuracy would be a concern. Assuming even capped hit rate, you have a 73% chance to land 6 hits, and a 77% chance to land 5, lowering that further will sharply decrease the effective increase in damage over ele belt. edited for clarification. In 75 events like Nyzul Shura+1 pulls ahead but Mekira+1 overall. Taint what's your math for windbuffet being superior to ele belt, I've rerun my calculations and have ele belt as a 4% damage increase and windbuffet as a 2.2% damage increase at 95% hit rate.
Would Mekira beat 3% WSD Shura in situations where it would normally favor Shura if used on the days where you're making use of the 'increases WS damage depending on day' on Mekira?
Shoha isn't an Elemental WS.
BG wiki says otherwise. ("Elemental weapon skill damage increases depending on day" gives +0.1 (or +25/256) fTP to any Weapon Skills (physical or magical) whose skillchain elements match the day)
Or do they mean hybrid WSs? Sorry if I misunderstood.
Mekira Oto works on physical weaponskills. The "element" pertains to the skillchain properties of the weaponskill.

The description on the helm is misleading. Most assumed it works for elemental ws only.
It works the same way for Athos's Gloves too. Just poor translation as per usual.
ty tait ^^ yeah im curious too,i went for the ta qa belt, still testing it,sure when it proc you can get nice spikes, inside abyssea should be best since accuracy should be capped on everything assumed capped skill merits ecc ecc
Even with capped accuracy it's not worth it. Your DA will be far higher than your TA or QA, which favors ele belt. The 5.5% increase in attack frequency over just having your normal amount of DA in your WS set is not enough of a boost to allow for Windbuffet to overtake ele belt. I'm still interested in seeing Taint's math, as I don't see how it's possible for him to have come to his conclusion of Windbuffet beating out Ele belt.
I think I originally did the math using 15% DA (no Avant legs +1) but I can re-do it with and without; it's a fairly simple calculation.
Assumptions: Moonshade TP Bonus, /WAR. Starting with no overflow. (average fTP with Windbuffet)/(average fTP with ele belt) 15% DA: (1.56875+1+(3*0.01+2*0.99*0.02+1*0.99*0.98*0.15)*2)/(1.66640625+1+(1*0.15)*2)=1.01099099, or a ~1.1% increase. 17% DA: (1.56875+1+(3*0.01+2*0.99*0.02+1*0.99*0.98*0.17)*2)/(1.66640625+1+(1*0.17)*2)=1.01044827, so a 1.04% increase. 1 hit's worth of overflow is... what, 21 TP? We'll go with 21. 15% DA: (1.7361+1+(3*0.01+2*0.99*0.02+1*0.99*0.98*0.15)*2)/(1.83375625+1+(1*0.15)*2)=1.040405% increase 17% DA: (1.7361+1+(3*0.01+2*0.99*0.02+1*0.99*0.98*0.17)*2)/(1.83375625+1+(1*0.17)*2)=0.989734% increase Best case for 7% Conserve TP increases ele belt damage by about 0.2%, a bit less with increased DA and overflow. Worth noting that it can't proc in Voidwatch so no chance of reducing your hit build with it, though there is the possibility of ele belt's accuracy being relevant on T6 NMs. |
