Wasn't including hasso or food (nor braver's) in those calculations. If it's 226 with those up, then you might be capped fSTR on most VWNMs. Right now I have Kaggen's INT at 137, but that's incomplete and I need more time to refine my results.
My SAM is pretty weak. 85 Masamune, no Ace's Mail and still 8/12 merits and I'm past 200STR without Food & Hasso.

With this set, I have 182 STR without buffs. (extra 10~15 comes from forgetting to add the STR on masamune)
In mine I have +88 STR, 15 on weapon and base 107 with 2 STR merits left but thats my fudo set. In my shoha its slightly less.
So 210 no buff, food or hasso for fudo.

226 should have capped or, if not capped, off cap by 1 or 2 points on most things then, yeah. Doesn't change results og belt vs gorget vs belt vs etc tho, so it doesn't really matter as far as that goes.
Has anyone done a good test on the attack bonus of this WS yet?
Avant Mail +1 best if don't have Aces?
I wasn't really wanting to search through the thread, but are the elemental gorget/belt the best neck/waist items for Shoha?

i dont understand relly,i went ace mail 1/2,and throwned like 3 body after that,and i have done max 25/30 uptala kill overall,and every run i have done lots body dropped as well to others >->

i saw lots ws posts whit avant gauntlet,i dont get it,its really better than unkai +2? unkai have more str yet less acc,but since using gorget/belt combo +shura head i dont think should be the point to go over avant gloves,i guess its all about the 2% da?
