Dose anyone know the effect of the fang item or are both fossils the same?

I traded bone and fang to Degenhard but he didn't give me item D:

You also have to trade him a seasoning stone.

So you need 2 total for the BC?

You need 1, the enfeebling item is a waste of time. But if you insist, yes, you need 2.

I'm a bit of a sucker for getting all the alternate dialogue and options for every quest.

fight is not hard... people have been babied by abyssea so long they're rusty. Or they go in there with a half-cocked plan.

The fight didn't seem too hard until he started to one shot people other than our PLD before we even knew we got hate off the tank. I've only done it with a pickup group so I'm not even sure if the PLD's gear was decent or not. He definatly didn't have an Ochain which is probably a huge difference on this guy. Oh yeah and one time our PLD also got one shotted by a Victory Smite, too. lol

I didn't realise that you have to talk to Maat before Degenhard. I thought it was just flag quest and talk to old fart #2.

I was saving the item for when he 2-houred to be safe. Sadly, the other mnk and myself had berserk and counterstance up. We got laid out before we realised how much he WS for.

Can anyone tell me if this stones drop in WotG/ToAU area from DC mobs too?
I am farming atBirds in WotG and didnt got any drop; no bone,no fang,no stone <.<
