I love chatter........BUT WHEN IM EATING I WILL STRANGLE YOU WITH YOUR OWN(insert your own object here) or if Im sniping in a game, because all of that takes up 90% of all the cores in my head to do, and 10% is left dedicated to life sustaining procedures(like breathing and motor mechanics) thus nothing is left to hear chatter in those 2 aspects of my time.

You know, come to think of it. I'd have to say it was around that time I started dressing nicer when I went out too. Nice t-shirts and jeans or a polo and straight shorts. Girls seem far more prone to be attracted to a guy who can prove they at least have the ability to clean up nicely. YES, bolded for emphasize. Thats pretty much what she told me haha. I didnt mind the scruffy look here and there in HS, I had PE early and I had track/field and god knows what else later in HS so I was always coming out sweaty and hair a mess, blood here and there depending on what activity I did.;o
I happen to like scruff, rugged, and rough and tumble! That metro BS is just too much. A guy who requires more maintenance than me is a turn off!

Hey! What did you run in track?!? I could do a mile in 4:30(in peak form). As far as sprints, I was horrible. What I lacked in spurts of speed I made up with untouchable endurance. I could run for miles non stop.
A decade later, I dont think I could do that without having to go through the basics again.

I'm pretty level headed for the most part and don't really argue with people.
As far as video gaming, people shouldn't talk to me when I'm playing. Especially if I can't pause it(Dark Souls for example).

And I never understood women who made their husbands sleep on the couch when they were upset. The best thing to curl up against to go to sleep is your husband! It's more of a punishment for the girl than for the boy to sleep on the couch. "I'm mad at you so I'm going to punish myself by taking away my blanket, heater, pillow, and snuggler?" Hell no. >.>

Ive only slept on the couch, twice?(maybe 3) times. All by my own wishes to. And it was just my way of letting the person know I was hurt and the problem was not being fixed or vocal communication was not being resolved. So I turned to my own male ways of communication since somewhere there had been a communication breakdown apparantly.
That being said, last thing I wanted to do was pull off the covers to jump into bed only to find her naked under them and 5mins later proceed to break the wall that I manfully put up(I broke a sweat doing it ,gawd) just to wake up in the morning and be like "gudfookingdamnit D:"
From that would lead me to think:
Was this better? We arent argueing and we are happy again.......or
Now the situation wont be address, my feelings were ignored entirely and now she knows 1) she can by pass things with sex 2) What I was going through was -clearly- not important enough. And worst of all my head tells me she may do it again in the future because I didnt "properly" address it the first time.

So, I was having a conversation with a female friend of mine last night about... well I honestly don't remember how it came up. Anyway, I have a habit of talking to girls once, or in class or just in any general setting and then if the next time, they don't give any indication of saying anything back I give up and move on.
For a more literal example I will go with an online situation. On a dating site like okcupid, I always give a well thought out message that leaves room for a response. Usually they respond a few times, each time the message gets longer and by about the 3rd message between us it tends to be really long. After that point, averaging 3 messages, no matter how well they go, or any indication that they dislike me (one girl literally said "have you ever met someone and after something they said, just wanted to blurt out 'marry me?'" (yes, it was odd)) they just don't respond, ever. Anyway, I always go "meh" and don't worry about it, never making an attempt to speak to them again.
Now, this situation comes along a lot. I am honestly not particularly attractive and make a point to let everyone know I am a nerd since it's literally everything I do in someway (I know that's the last thing you wanna say to a girl, but it felt relevant to the whole question). Every single time, I make a point of never making a point to greet people or go out of my way to speak to them, unless they do themselves because I believe that not taking the hint and talking to them again is the best way to make them think I am creepy. I don't talk a lot in public, but I think some people find it strange how much I talk with just them, so I am always worried people will think I'm creepy. In the end, all that really matters is the basic question based on the dating site example for ease of wording but it goes for everything, not just that specifically:
If the girl doesn't message you back, is it okay to message them again? Or is it considered creepy?
My friend is convinced it's okay to message them back, but she is a female and cute at that, I am pretty sure she has no idea what rejection is (I've known her a very long time so I know she doesn't)
I am convinced that the best way to make them decide I'm a worse creeper than the guy who runs around to every girls page and says "lets fuck", since that guy isn't paying them any special interest, where if a guy who actually took the time to give a shit, gives a shit, he may be really into them and clearly I can't take a hint.
I keep over explaining things, is it a hint to stop talking to them if they don't respond? It honestly seems pretty obvious that it is a strong hint, but my friend is convinced other wise.
Anyway, I'll restate the main question in the tl;dr:
tl;dr:
If a girl doesn't message you back on something like an online dating site, after several correspondences, does that mean you should give up and move on?
