Murasamemaru hidden effect
Ageha +25% wouldn't actually be THAT bad lol. They upped its dmg, so its an at least decent WS as it stands lol. But no, he isn't serious, I'm sure.
Enhanced Ageha would be pretty neat actually. Not tipping scales with damage but it's decent enough, and the DEF down is often overlooked and rather potent. Sacrificing one WS (fudo, gekko, whatever) for 3 minutes of 25% DEF down seems fair to me.
It's still entirely unknown as far as I was aware.
Hm after redoing the test, Ageha is actually 30% DEF down. Baller. Why don't more SAMs use this?

Yes. I went out to Kaggen on SAM/WAR. Did a 100TP Ageha, then died. Dying will erase all debuffs on the VWNM, allowing you to see what's landed. Every time I died, its Defense Down effect wore off.
No way I'm staying alive on one of these on SAM for three minutes solo, so no, no idea.
The Ageha testing is pretty cool. Definitely worth using on longer fights and harder mobs.

Nothing yet on this GK?
150% WS damage eye balled 10% proc rate
I don't have one just relaying info Source?
Can someone do the math for the most dmg one could expect using my stats? - against Kaggen (not sure about his stats) - Hume - STR merits 12/12 - /war - no food (not sure about other stuff like att- and STR-buffs, as well as de-buffs but it was a PUG, so.. -_-) and this poor excuse of a WS-Set: I only saved 3 parses for Kaggen (mainly due to the fact that I'm not getting to go SAM a lot) and the most I've done were 3211 and 3553. I broke 3k twice in 42 WS and both were in the same fight and back to back as well. Edit: Used Shoha (5/5), obviously. 隠し性能として、水属性天候時にウェポンスキルダメージ+5%の効果がある。 -from JP wiki: hidden effect: weaponskill damage +5% during water weather.
Makes sense given the nature of the sword, and should be pretty easy for someone to test. Estimating Kaggen's stats and assuming you have Stalwart's, Braver's, Hasso, and Berserk. Max pDIF.
P: Lv99, 219STR, 1427ATK M: Lv110, 115VIT, 500DEF Without Proc: D: 111 fSTR: 20 (min:12/max:20) WSC: 186 fTP: 2.575 (3.575 DA) Max pDIF: 2.06875 Base: 816 (1133 DA) Final: 1688 (2343 DA)/2008 OW (2788 OW+DA) With Proc: D: 111 fSTR: 20 (min:12/max:20) WSC: 186 fTP: 2.575 (3.575 DA) Max pDIF: 2.06875 Base: 816 (1133 DA) Final: 2532 (3514 DA)/2852 OW (3959 OW+DA) This is absolute max damage possible within a very small margin of error (<0.5%) and is not a very common occurrence. Thx for the math!
Here are the WS numbers I've gotten, if anyone wants to know. I'd say, proc during weather can be ruled out then? Can't rule anything out concretely since the stats are an estimation and we have a rather poor sample size, however the difference between a 50% and 5% WSD bonus are pretty noticeable, and the math would somewhat support it if those stats are close to what they really are. I'm also missing what other buffs you may have had aside from Berserk, Stalwart's, and Braver's.
GKT needs a purely elemental WS.
Well, in terms of "during water weather", as Kaggen is in Qufim and I'm sure there is no water weather there. -_-;
The spikes are bizarre, however again, without concrete stats and concrete testing parameters, I can't say that it's absolutely one way or the other.
100 could be too little or too much, there's no way to specify a solid sample size. Each weaponskill would need to be done with Sneak Attack too.
You're right, but if there's no anomalous fluctuations, it can help narrow down what needs to be done to further test.
Why are you even using kaggen to test on. Find a SCH to give you water weather, sneak attack WS some level one mobs, see what happens. If that doesn't work, then maybe it is 150% WS damage. Either way, it should be pretty obvious.
