Why Are You A Dancer?

Open ended as Final Fantasy XI's job system is, I understand that one character isn't strictly any one or two classes, but I'm sure many players have a class they favor more than others. For me When I first started I didn't know what job I was going to main... but on the first day while I was running around and i saw a dancer and i said to my self The armor look's cool so i went to lvl up and i unlocked dancer and now i am a lvl 95 dancer and i like it and i willl defend the dancer job as well to any one that bad mouth's the dancer

Best job in the game, duh

Because beating stuff up while wearing my sexy man tights gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

It lets me feel pretty!

I like being able to go do things on my own. I was whm and blm onry for so long, I got tired of being a mage, I wanted something different.

Besides, crackows and chocobo jig make me haul *** and I love it.

I liked soloing but thought beastmaster was stupid.

I never planned to level dnc, actually. I even jokingly refer to my dnc as a harlot. But I loved thf, and after getting a twashtar for my thf, I realized it would be better used on a dnc. So I leveled dnc, hesitantly at first, and now I like it just slightly less than I like thf. I can solo better on it (assuming I don't need TH) and tank better on it, hold hate better on it, and do better damage on it than I can on my thf.

...but I still don't love it enough to gear it well. When I was given the choice to upgrade my blm body or my dnc body to +2, I upgraded the blm. xD I'll get around to gearing dnc someday, and in the meantime, it's just a nice soloing machine. (Totally wasn't a fair choice, btw. Blm is my baby, I choose it over other jobs all the time!)
