Yeah, we should probably petition to have the game banned when it comes out.

Nah just most people arnt sick enough >=D
It probably is just an extension of GTA4 in terms of graphics and gameplay, the PS3 is pretty maxed out at this point.

I'm looking forward to another living, roaming city. So many options, so much fun to be had....
rocket launchers and other weaponry being empty at every vehicle on the road save the muscle car looking ones.
People getting beaten just for looking at me funny.
BUM FIGHTS!!! (yes it can be done, it provided me with hours of entertainment)
Then 2 weeks or so later it enters the pile of "Ok i'm bored now" games so i condemn myself to yet another long period of ffxi only.

What have they had so far? Triad, russian mob, italian mob, "normal" gang? Maybe they'll do Yakuza this time lol

I highly doubt that after all that criticism, despite media giving it the high ratings it did at the time.
And the graphics? Well they were good then and they'll be good now.
Also, the GTA franchise has been multiplatform for a while now so no idea why you singled out the PS3 version.
They're known for their absolute brutality (if you need an example, scroll to the bottom to popular culture). They fit GTA quite well..
couldnt even finish 4, maybe when 5 comes up in 2013 I will be in the mood for a GTA game.
They've decided to take a more fantasy-oriented route with this installment.

I couldn't finish it even if I wanted to because of a stupid glitch that was only present in some copies >_> Couldn't beat the last mission because the chopper was being a douche.

think they did yakuza in the original GTA
GTAIV, as wonderful a game as it was, took itself way too seriously and as a result, was one of the most overrated games to date, so the whole "GTAV announced, lolz" Thing doesn't have me really that psyched.

Aw yeah! can't wait.
I personally loved GTA IV.
I haven't even finished GTA4 yet, not even halfway, and I camped at midnight and bought the special edition... :(
It makes me curious if Rockstar is going to continue with their cinematic trend of well scripted, gritty, semi-realistic, film noir approach to the franchise, or if they will leave some breathing room for the lovable tongue-and-cheek, whimsical, and chaotic exploits everyone loves to partake in.
Either way, the game looks amazing and an absolute blast to play when it comes out.
